Cahill eyes go wide, as in how the hell would I know but doesn’t question me.

“She has, doll.”

“Then will you let her know I am glad she is safe, and I will call her in a few days when I have more energy. Thank you.”

And turn my head away. I have so many questions, but I don’t have the energy right now to get into it. Cahill nods and relays my message, and then is back to kissing me. I push him back just a little to ask, “I need to know, is Jonathon dead?”

“He is not dead. I couldn’t kill him after hearing you say that you wanted him to get help. He is getting the help he needs. Only Ruairi, Liam, Jones and now you know this. To every single one of my men and the other families, they believe I held him for two weeks while I tortured him, before killing him after what he did tomyqueen. So, that can never leave this room. Once he has completed his treatment, he will have a new name and can live a new life without crime. It is up to you if you want to see him again. I personally would rather he moves to America and never comes back, but he is your brother, and it’s your choice. When he has completed the program, they will let me know. He has a new house and car waiting for him also.”

“Thank you, Cahill. I love you. Now kiss your queen.”

I smirk at him. I need him to come back to me, not to think about my brother, and what happened to me.
