My heart shatters and then fixes in a flash at his concern for my son. “You are the one who is freaking out.”

Zach stays silent for a few beats and my heart pitter-patters as it awaits his great decision.

“So, this is on?” he asks.

“It better be on.”

He finally grins andmyZach is back. “Did you get addicted to me already?”

I totally did but I’m not going to admit it to him. He already has a too-big ego.

“Get over yourself.” I push him lightly, and to hide my huge smile, I turn around. “Drink your coffee, I’m not going to make you another.” I pull out the baking pans from the cupboard.

Zach grabs my hands. “Why are you starting so early?”

“Because I can’t go back to sleep, so I better do this.”

He shakes his head and mutters, “You’re the owner. I don’t understand why you still have to work this hard.”

“I heard that.” I smack his chest. “And I am not the owner.Youare the owner.”

“Okay. Okay. Let’s not start this again.” He brings his palms in front of his body as if I’m a wild animal. “Let’s watch a movie. You still have a few hours to spare, right?” He glances at the clock.

I nod and ask, “Can I choose?” Even after knowing his response all too well.

“Of course! But I know what you want to watch. I will startCharlie’s Angels, Hopper, while you make us some popcorn.” He winks at me and saunters out of the kitchen.

My gaze zooms in on his perfect ass. Holy crap, my husband is gorgeous.

I have never even likedCharlie’s Angelsbefore but it’s slowly becoming my favorite. I will be huddled next to Zach. He might even give me a foot rub or a shoulder massage.

The list of things I didn’t know I liked until Zach came along keeps on growing.
