“Okay, fine.” His sigh is heavy and resigned. Final. “You’re never doing that again.”

He squints at me in confusion. “I hate to break it to you, but I’m not into torturing you. That’s not the best motivation to win games.”

He licks his lips like he’s already anticipating his favorite flavor. “You drive a hard bargain, Mrs. Falls.”
I laugh and pull him back to my hungry mouth. “What’s good for the goose is good for the gander. Every time I get an A on a test, I’ll let you lick if you let me swallow.”
“Thank God for the off-season,” he mumbles against my lips. “Deal.”
