Ben’s lips trail down my neck as his movement slows and I shake beneath him.

“Two,” he whispers, smiling against my skin, and I can’t breathe enough to speak.

Instead I bring my hands to his chest as he pulls away from me and I watch him as he smiles softly. His face is so serene in this moment, so joyful and pure, and I want to bathe in the sight of it.

“Your body is so responsive.” He grins a little as he trails his fingers up my chest and leaves a trail of goosebumps. “So ready for me.”

I nod as he finds a steady rhythm again, hitting me harder but still beautifully slow.

“So fucking perfect, Mik.”

As he speaks I bite my lip, only for him to kiss me harshly, pulling my lips apart.

“You’re so fucking beautiful when you moan, Mikaela. So beautiful.”

My fingers are digging into his skin again as his pace increases and I tighten with his praise.

“Come on, baby.” He kisses me again. “One more. Give me one more and then you can sleep. Yeah?”

“No more. I can’t.” He twists his hips slightly and I moan. “Fuck, Ben.” I’m mewling, my nails sinking into him as I feel him clenching and he grins wickedly at the sound of his name.

“One more, Mik. Yes. Just like that. Good girl.”

It tears through me violently, ripping my breath from me and plunging the room into darkness as galaxies explode in my mind. I feel his movements stutter as he moans my name with a few more thrusts, and then he’s collapsed on top of me, both of us gasping for breath and unable to move.

Ben’slaughisalow rumble in his chest as I shuffle through the room and back to the bed. I’ve pushed my hair - damp from our shower - back into a messy bun, a chopstick from his kitchen shoved in it to keep it up. His shirt swamps my frame and, if I’m honest, I’ve never felt more attractive.

Ben grins as I climb back in beside him, resting my head on his chest as he pulls me closer, and I sigh.

“You know, tonight was -”

“Incredible,” Ben interrupts, a smug spark lighting up his face as I chuff out a laugh, pushing up to look at him. My chest fizzes and pops as I watch him laying peacefully. One arm is slung back behind his head, his muscles glistening in the dim light from the street that spills through the window, and the other is wrapped around me. With one finger he traces soft patterns against the thin fabric over my spine. He looks so content with his eyes closed and I shake my head gently.

“What’s on your mind, Wilcox?” Ben opens one eye and smiles softly.

“Three.” I grin when he smirks and raises an eyebrow.

“I told you I could help you let go.” Ben snorts as I swat at his chest and roll my eyes.

“Jamie is going to kill you, you know. It’s official.” I shrug a little before laying back down, my head on his chest and my fingers brushing against his skin. When he groans I giggle.

“Really? You just had to kill the moment, Mik.”

“You were being smug.” I kiss his chest before nuzzling closer. “I had to knock your ego down somehow.”

“Great.” He grumbles as he pulls at the sheets, covering us both as I laugh. “Go to sleep, Mik.”

I feel the softness of his lips against my head as he pulls the chopstick from my hair and tosses it aside and I close my eyes, ignoring the chasm that seems to open in my stomach at the thought of how true my words had been.

Jamie is going to kill Ben.

Thenuttyaromaoffresh coffee and the soft brush of fingertips across my exposed shoulder pulls me from the peaceful haze of dreams. I smile sleepily as I feel the sweet caress of his lips against the freckles that have been warmed by the sun and then the gentle shift of the shirt I stole last night being pulled up to cover me properly.

I open my eyes and push myself up from my place, twisting to look up at the blue eyes that are dancing over my body.

“Good morning.” My voice is thick with sleep as I stretch out and Ben smiles, his tongue rolling over his lower lip as he stares at the way the shirt has hoisted up over my hips when I push the sheet from me.

My muscles ache deliciously.
