“I think we should wager a bet. Whoever pins the other first wins.”

“Hmm . . .” I considered.

“Don’t tell me you’re scared,” he taunted.

“Pshaw, I ain’t scared of you,” I said with a sassy flair.

“Then tell me what you want so we can get this show on the road.”

I jutted out my hip, trying to seem unintimidated. I wasn’t, but I was. I didn’t know how good Tyler was, but I had a feeling he’d be a challenging opponent. “Are there any conditions? Limitations?”

“Nope. You got carte blanche. Anything you want. Sky’s the limit.”

Ideas fired off in my head. Bing, bang, boom. Fun ideas. Sexy ideas. Kinky ideas.

“C’mon, Marisa” Tyler’s eyes rolled back impatiently. “It’s not a question on Jeopardy. What do you want?”

I was a brat in my retort. “Don’t rush me.” I couldn’t concentrate with him looking the way he did.

“Tick-tock, baby,” he taunted. “Tick-tock.”

The man was infuriating. Was it wrong that I was slightly turned on?Focus, Marisa. My brain leaped to the one thing I’d wanted for the past two years but hadn’t allowed myself to splurge and buy. “You’re gonna think it’s stupid.”

“Doesn’t matter. You’re not gonna win anyway.”

“You cocky motherfu—l” He snatched me to him, using my right hand to cup his huge dick, while his mouth captured mine in a hot and heady kiss.

“You should know,” he said after releasing me from the toe-curling kiss.

“You’re going down,” I said.

“That’s a given,” he said, with a nose-laugh. “Tell me what you want,” he asked again. I couldn’t tell if he was being serious or suggestive, but I answered his question nonetheless.

“Cappuccino machine.”

I expected him to laugh hysterically at the idiocy of my choice. Instead, he said, “’Kay,” and then kissed the tip of my nose.

I tilted my head up, “And what about you?”

“If I win?”

“You’re not going to, but yeah. Tell me. You know for shits and giggles.”

“A date.”

“A date?”

“Arealdate. None of this meeting up at your place for just sex. You and me. Out on the town. Forreal.”

My skin prickled as if it was about to break out in hives. He was serious. This was getting serious.

Hoping my response didn’t betray me, I scrunched up my nose and replied, “Okay.” I tried to make it sound like a question instead of an agreement.

“And, I get to spend the night.” His eyes shimmered mischievously as he waggled his brows. “Thewholenight.

“You’ve already spent the night.”

“True. But this time, it will include breakfast in the morning.”
