Elizabeth woke slowly, gradually becoming aware of soft lips placing lingering kisses to the small of her back. Those lips gradually worked their way up along her spine to the column of her neck, and she sighed blissfully, unwilling to open her eyes, just in case this was only a spectacular dream. She burrowed further into the pillow and stretched, feeling remarkably content.

A pair of warm hands pushed her hair to the side and gently massaged her shoulders before meandering along the curves of her arms where they disappeared underneath her pillow. Seconds later, she felt a warm, muscular chest press lightly against her back and then the caress of those soft lips once again, this time on the nape of her neck.

When a teasing nibble was given to her earlobe, she shivered and heard a deep, throaty chuckle. She smiled and, moments later, felt Will's warmth as he stretched out next to her, the hard lines of his body following the soft curves of hers. She rolled onto her side so that he could curl behind her, and he locked her into a tight spoon, wrapping his arms around her and holding her close.

“Happy birthday to you..." he sang softly as his hands came up to cup her breasts, teasing and stroking as he kissed her neck. "Happy birthday to you..." One hand left her breasts and traveled down over her stomach to caress her hip... "Happy birthday, dear Lizzzzy..." He lifted her leg and gently pulled it on top of his. "Happy birthday to you..." He stroked along her leg to the juncture of her thighs, his fingers caressing and seeking and making her feel weightless.

His breath warmed her ear, and she reached behind her, grasping him and stroking up and down. His breathing grew erratic and the hand between her thighs stopped, but only to still her own hand. He laid her arm in front of her and his fingers stroked over her breast again.

They hadn't spoken and her eyes remained closed, but her senses were filled with him. She grasped his hand and kissed his palm, then moved it to the apex of her thighs, guiding and pressing and showing him what she needed.

He slipped his fingers inside of her and she moaned, her hips moving in tandem to their gliding thrusts. His thumb continued to circle and caress, and all the while his other hand was busy at her breasts, massaging and taking turns with each peak. He licked and nibbled his way from the curve of her neck to her shoulder, causing gooseflesh to race across her skin.

She was impatient to have him inside of her, and after a small and mostly playful struggle, she managed to roll over and press her lips to his in a hungry kiss. Her hands traveled over his chest and stomach and back, reveling in the feel of him, and she lifted her leg and wrapped it around his hip. Before she could do anything further, his mouth left hers, and she shivered when the new growth of stubble on his cheeks and chin lightly scratched her chest as he slid down low, drawing the tip of one breast into his mouth, sucking and nibbling before releasing it to pleasure the other.

She lifted his head and brought his mouth back to hers for a long, searing kiss, and when she finally opened her eyes he wasright there, staring back at her with the sweetest smile, his hair mussed and his eyes a beautiful shade of dark chocolate that she loved.

But it's not just his eyes I love. It's him. I love him.

The sudden revelation whirled through her mind, blindsiding her. Tears stung her eyes, and she buried her face into the crook of his neck. He grasped her bottom and pulled her flush against him.

"It's your birthday," he whispered.

She nodded, and when she felt like she’d regained her equilibrium, she opened her eyes and reached between them to grasp him snugly. "Can I have my present now?"

He chuckled, moved her hand away, and joined them together in one long, slow thrust. She sighed, relishing the sublime sensation of his body filling hers.A perfect fit. Her eyes locked on his, and she smiled.

"Happy Birthday to me."

Will hummedas he padded around the kitchen in a pair of shorts and an old T-shirt, waiting for the coffee to brew and checking to make sure the blueberries and strawberries he’d bought hadn't been eaten by his sister. Elizabeth had gone back to sleep, but he’d risen to make a few phone calls and get some work done, ensuring they would have the rest of the day to celebrate.

He heard footsteps and turned to see Georgiana walking into the kitchen.

"You're up early," she said with a yawn. "Elizabeth still sleeping?"

"Yes. Um, do we have a tray?"

"A tray? Like…a serving tray?"

"Yes."

"To serve breakfast in bed? That kind of tray?"

"Yes, Georgie. That kind of tray."

She grinned. "Not to change the subject or anything, butnowdo you see why I should move across the backyard? You need your privacy."

"No, Idon'tsee why you should move across the backyard. I just need you to tell me where the tray is."

She laughed. "If you could see your face right now… It's like you snuck a girl into your room or something. You're blushing."

"Oh please, I'm not blushing."

"Yes, you are."
