Everyone begins to clap, and Ivy and Kane both look at me with the sweetest smile. I nod and go back to my seat as the wedding planner announces it’s time to cut the cake.
After we stuff ourselves with the best one Maize has ever made, the lights lower, and the real dancing begins.
I think Payton and I are the only ones sitting in a room of at least three hundred people. “Do you wanna dance?” he asks, meeting my eyes.
I’m not much of a dancer, but I am somewhat feeling the FOMOs because everyone does look like they’re having fun. Even the little kids are jamming out.
“Sure,” I tell him, and he leads me to the dance floor.
I wrap my arms around Payton’s neck, and he places his strong hands on my hips. I’d be lying if I said I didn’t find him attractive as hell, even if he’s quiet sometimes. He’s always been there for me because everyone else is too busy being in love. I’m completely lost in my thoughts as he spins me around, and I meet his smoldering gaze.
“Why are you looking at me like that?” he asks, and I wonder if I’m imagining it all. Wine can sometimes be brutal to my perception.
I snort, trying to brush it off, but a blush creeps up my cheeks. Thankfully it’s dark. “Wait, was I eye-fucking you?”
A grin touches his plump lips. “Probably the wine.”
“Definitely the wine,” I add, though the thought of being with him has crossed my mind on more than one occasion. Especially when he’s working shirtless with sweat running down those washboard abs of his.
Just the thought has me ready to fuck him right here on this dance floor, but then again, it’s been a while since I’ve been with anyone. He bellows out a laugh. We’re so close, but I’m happy I can’t see his expression.
“Oh, Kate. You’ve had way too much to drink, and while I find it adorable, it’s also dangerous. You already don’t have a filter, but this is Kaitlyn with her balls out.”
“That was a good non-answer. You know what they say, a drunk man’s lies are a sober man’s truth,” I tell with a chuckle, pushing away to meet his eyes.
There’s something behind his expression.
“Honestly, I just need you to pull my hair, fuck me raw, then knock me up,” I whisper, and he smiles while he slightly fists the material of my bridesmaid’s dress.
We’re close, almost too close. The music changes, and it’s one of those songs played at the club. A disco ball above casts shards of light around the room as those dancing bump and grind on one another.
“Well?” I ask, moving even closer to Payton. I turn around and rub my ass against him feeling his rock-hard cock. Let me just say he’s thick as hell, and I’d be lying if I said I didn’t want to take him on a test drive right now.
