“You fucking drive me wild, Lesley,” he said. His breath came out in short huffs, hot against her ear. His voice was low and rumbled through her. “All I’ve been able to think about since your phone call is how to make you come. All the ways I want to feel you lose control.”

Lesley dug her nails into his thighs. She was near the peak of that delicious climb to the precipice and ready to fall off. Her legs started shaking, and she felt him tremble as well.

“Please, Antony. Come with me.” She turned her head and pressed against his hand. He kissed her and rubbed her clit faster.

Her breath caught as that first wave shot out and through her body and she bowed back against him, crying out. He held her in place, grinding her hard against him as he continued to rub her clit with each pulse.

“That’s right, Les, take it. Let me feel you. Oh, fuck.” He looked into her eyes and moved his hand away from her throat and to her chest. Her heart beat wildly against his palm and her chest heaved as she gulped in air.

He tensed up as she continued clenching around him, and bit down at the top of her shoulder. He held her tightly to him and ground into her, shuddering and groaning his release into her skin.

Once his breathing calmed, he pressed a kiss to her neck. “You still with me?” he asked.

She sighed and mumbled. “Let’s always have dessert first.”

His chuckle rumbled against her back. “Deal.” He lifted her off him and settled her across his lap, peering at her neck.

“I didn’t expect you to lean into my hand,” he said. “A little warning next time, if that’s what you want.”

“Kinda got caught up in the moment. You weren’t pressing hard.”

“Hard enough for your eyes to go all woozy.”

She laughed. “Because the mind blowing orgasm had nothing to do with that.”

“Yeah, well. Maybe a little of that, too. Seriously, though, I’m down for most stuff, especially if it gets you off like that.”

“I don’t have any secret dungeons—”

“Damnit,” he muttered under his breath.

Lesley laughed. “Well, I do have an extra room.” She winked at him. “I just like things a little rough. Though,” she paused for a second. “I didn’t know I liked having my ass slapped.”

Antony felt himself stirring. Lesley looked at him with a knowing smile and wiggled a little.

“I’m guessing we’re on the same page with the rough stuff.”

He rocked her off him and stood up with her in one mostly smooth motion. “Rough? Yes. On a more comfortable surface? Also, yes.”

She wound her arms around his neck. “What about dinner?”

“It’ll reheat.”

CHAPTER TWENTY-TWO

“So, we’re meeting them on post, right?” Lesley stood in front of her closet, looking at shoes. She smiled at the extra pair of Antony’s shoes and his extra crutch tucked in next to her things. He wasn’t spending every night at her place, but he was there enough to when he’d asked if he could stow the device there, she made a spot for it.

“Yeah. We’re taking the old highway straight to Tombstone and it’s faster from their place.”

“Mmhmm.” She reached down and grabbed her well-worn sneakers. “How come Charlie’s not going?”

“She’s up in Tucson with some friends. They’ve got a hash going on.” Antony left out the part where Charlie didn’t want to tag along on what was obviously a double date.

Lesley looked at him, confused. “A what?”

“A hash. Hash House Harriers. There are groups all over the world. One person goes out ahead of the group and marks the trail. The rest try to follow it. There’s also drinking involved.”

“Drinking and driving?”
