“Vicky?” Simon asked.

Antony nodded. “I ain’t dealing with this shit.” He tapped her number and filled in the information and set her to silent. He grabbed Lesley’s hand and brought it up to his lips. “I’d rather block her, but I can’t, just in case she escalates. I’m sorry.”

“For what? You didn’t do anything. Forget about her.”

“Yeah. Besides, we need to get to the old timey photo place,” Simon said, shoving his chair back.

“Oh hell no, we do not, Carwell.” Audrey was shaking her head. “We most certainly do not.”

“Babe. Darling. I need a pic of you in a corset.” Simon batted his eyes at Audrey and clutched his chest.

Antony turned to Lesley and grinned. “This is a great idea. I’d love a pic of you all dolled up, too.”

“Only if you wear a corset, too, Ramos.”

“Deal.”

“I shouldn’t be surprised. I really shouldn’t,” Lesley said, clutching the packet of photos. “I will be framing them.”

“And I’ll put one on my desk,” Antony said, kissing her on the cheek.

“Still can’t believe I let you talk me into that. Do you know how often they clean those clothes?”

“They didn’t smell too bad.”

“Such a guy thing to say.” Lesley shook her head.

Simon called to Antony, and Lesley smiled as he walked away. She turned to Audrey. “So, you’ve never been here before, either? How long have you been at Huachuca?”

“Nope. I’ve been here for almost a year now. I don’t know if Ant told you about my first few months, but I didn’t do a lot of sightseeing.”

“He told me a little. And I imagine not.”

“We’ve gone to other places, Tucson, Flagstaff. I guess we figured that this place was always close enough, you know?” She smiled at Lesley. “I’m glad we came out today.”

“I am, too.” She looked up in time to see Simon nudge Antony and point at a window.

“You’re good for him.”

Lesley raised her eyebrows but said nothing.

Audrey shrugged. “He’s more relaxed lately. Well, except for the case, but we’re all on edge with that.”

“How’s that going?”

Antony walked up and slid his arms around her waist. “Slowly. Painfully.” He tucked a strand of hair behind her ear and ran his fingers down her cheek.

“It’s a slog, that’s for sure. I just hope we catch a break soon.” Simon wound his fingers through Audrey’s. “We should probably head back. I’ve got an early morning with the family. Fence painting or something.”

“Sounds like a thrill.” Antony said.

“You two wanna come help?”

“Manual labor or quiet time with my beautiful woman. Tough call, man. Real tough.”

“I’m sure my mother would feed you.” Simon grinned.
