Heidi

Once I heard they found him, I was ecstatic. I couldn’t sit still, and now I pace the main room waiting on them to get back.

“Got the motherfuckers that had him too,” Rage tells Badger while I listen in. does that mean they have Victor too? The thought of seeing him causes vomit to rise in the back of my throat.

“You good?” Badger asks, seeing the look on my face.

“I’m fine. I just don’t want to see that asshole ever again.”

“After Trek gets done with him, you won’t be.”

“He’s weak, though, isn’t he? He needs to rest.”

“You think that man is gonna rest knowin’ he’s still alive? Not a chance in hell, darlin’.” He smiles over at me, and I get it. Trek isn’t going to stop until he’s dead. He’s made that much clear before.

“How much longer?” I ask impatiently.

“They’re pullin’ in now,” Rage replies as he walks toward the doors. It’s been storming all day, and I can’t say I didn’t like it. It was calming.

I hear the vans pull into the parking lot, and I head for the door. I run outside, rain pelting me as I look between the vans trying to see which one he’s inside. I need to see him. I need to know that he’s really okay.

The doors open, and Demon climbs out, shooting me a strange look before moving to the back of the van. I watch the doors open, and Drake climbs out, helped by Griz. Then I see Cross jump out and offer his hand to someone. It has to be Trek. He hobbles out of the van, and Cross helps him toward the door. I stand here stunned. He’s okay. He’s alive. A sigh of relief escapes me.

The rain hits harder as I stand here staring at him. I want to run to him, but I’m scared. Cross helps him toward me, but he doesn’t stop. Trek eyes me before lowering his gaze and looking at the ground. They make their way past me and into the clubhouse as I stand stunned in the rain.

“Come on. He needs a little time, Heidi.” Demon says as he passes me. I nod my head and walk back inside before heading to the room. I don’t bother to stop and see anyone. I just rush past and head into the bathroom. Tears fall down my cheeks as I look at myself in the mirror. Did I lose him? Is he too far gone?

I reach up and wipe my eyes before walking into the bedroom and pulling my wet shirt over my head. I drop it into a pile on the floor and move to my shorts next. Then the door opens, and I gasp when I see Cross and Trek.

“Don’t fuckin’ look at her,” Trek growls as Cross helps him to the bed.

“I’m not lookin’, brother. Calm down,” he reassures Trek as he sits him on the bed. He motions for Cross to leave as I grab a shirt from the hanger.

“Don’t put anything on,” he says gruffly. I hold the shirt in my hand, unsure what to do. “Come over here.” I walk over and stand in front of him, uncertain of what’s about to happen.

“Come here,” he repeats. I step closer to him, and his hands come to rest on my hips. I feel his thumbs move over my flesh, and my body heats, but I know he isn’t up for anything. He looks like hell. Then he pulls me to his lap, and that’s where I sit. He rests his head on my shoulder, keeping me tucked close to him.

“I’m sorry,” I whisper.

“You didn’t do anything wrong. I’m gonna make him pay,” he tells me.

“I know you will.” I raise my hand and wrap it around his neck before pressing a kiss to his cheek.

“I need more,” he mumbles.

“What do you need?” I ask him.

“You. I need you.”

“You’re hurt, Trek.”

“I don’t care. I need you. I need to fuckin’ feel somethin’, Heidi. Make me feel somethin’.” I stand and drop to my knees in front of him. I don’t know if this is what he wants, but I do it anyway.

I pull his cock free from his torn and ragged jeans and stroke it with my hand. He keeps his eyes on me the whole time, never looking away. I feel powerful at this moment. I’m giving him something he needs. He needs this. He needs me.

“Suck it, Heidi.” His gruff words cause heat to spiral inside of me. I lower my head and suck him into my mouth, taking him deep. He groans, and that’s all I need to hear. I start sucking him harder and faster, my head bobbing up and down. His hand comes down on the back of my head, letting it rest there. I suck harder when I feel him swell. Then he comes, shooting down the back of my throat. I eagerly swallow before he pulls out of my mouth and tucks himself back into his jeans. His worn out body slumps forward when I stand and push him back.

“You need to rest,” I tell him.

“I need you.”

“I’m not going anywhere,” I tell him as I slide onto the bed next to him. I snuggle into his side, running my fingers through his hair.

“I don’t know what to say,” he says softly.

“You don’t have to say anything. You’re here, and you’re safe. That’s what matters.”

“It should be me tellin’ you that.”

“You have, and now it’s my turn.”

He turns his head to face me, and I can see the lost look in his eyes. I hate that I see it, and there’s nothing I can do about it. There’s nothing I can say to make this better.

“I think I love you, Heidi.”

“Good. Because I love you too.” I watch his eyes as they flutter closed. He needs the rest, and I lay here watching him as he sleeps. He looks peaceful in his sleep, but I know that isn’t going to last long. He’s going to lose himself at some point. And I hate to see that happen.
