Robin waited her turn, keeping an eye on the girls in front of her as they wiggled and squirmed. Then a handsome man in tuxedo held out his arm to walk her back down the aisle, Tyler-blue eyes staring into her very soul.
“It’s just a matter of time before it’s us in their place,” he whispered next to her, swinging Becky into his arms when she lifted Elly.
“Nick! Not now!”
“I’m just giving you fair warning, Robin Patton. I’m going to have forever with you. You can count on it.”
Rory’s wicked laughter followed Robin back down the aisle the whole way.
