I nodded like a bobble head and started wiping the already-clean counter.

“Bye, Lucas.”

I watched him leave the shop, and then blew out a breath, relieved that it was finished.

“Well he’s a little much.”

I startled at Landry’s voice, but then erupted into a fit of giggles.

“I thought it was just me.”
