AURORA IS WAY MORE comfortable with her girls here with us.
It's been three days since the dead flower, and there's been no further sign of the asshole. But Rose and Trix have refused to leave, not that any of us even suggested it. I rather like having them here too. They're hilarious and adorable and fit well with the rest of us.
They've been coming along to the library when Aurora heads to work with me, and they've completely taken over Storytime. The kids fucking adore them. It leaves Aurora and I shelving books in the back.
I keep myself under control, barely, and don't kiss her up against the stacks, even though it's become my biggest fantasy at the moment. Before I spin her around, and flip up one of her little sundresses and turn that ass pink.
But we're all keeping our hands to ourselves. I haven't even fucked my alpha or my beta since my heat, and I'm starting to get antsy. I consider asking Aurora if that's a true omega issue, or if society has trained me to believe I'm this thirsty. I bet she knows, and I'd like to see the flush I know she'll get on her cheeks, but I don't want to push her.
She’s started to pull away and I barely talked her back down, so I told everyone to watch what they say around her and we're all walking on eggshells. I have no idea if I made the right call or not, but Enzo admitted he spilled more than he meant to about what we want. Now the ball is in her court, it's her decision.
But today, I'm sneaking back to the house for a long lunch to surprise my beta with a nooner to scratch the itch before I do pounce on Aurora. Rose and Trix are here with Aurora while she pours back over a new stack of books she's collected, so she probably won't even notice I'm gone, and she'll be perfectly safe with them, in public.
I've been planning to talk to the rest of the guys and see what they think of the idea of inviting Rose and Trix into our pack along with Aurora. They're a perfect fit, and Aurora won't go anywhere without them. Rose and Trix would have an easier time of it if they were part of a pack as well. Betas and omegas are allowed to bond, but without at least one alpha, they'll be heavily governed, not allowed to take part in a lot. With us, they'd have more freedom, bullshit thought it is. None of us have the slightest sexual or romantic interest in either of them, and they don't seem to have any for us either, but friendships have certainly been blooming.
Especially between the betas. They have similar blood-thirsty outlooks on life.
Maybe if we offer it, that will help convince Aurora that she belongs here with us, no matter how awesome a town of nothing but bookstores sounds. We have more than enough books here, and we can order as many as she fucking wants.
