Rose shakes her head. “No. They'd offer some other help to us if it was just about keeping you."

"And stupid as it is, the two of you would have more freedom and options if you join their pack."

Trix waves that off. ”We'd have just as much in Europe, so don't make the decision for us. What do you want?"

Rose squeezes my hand. “We love the guys and have no problem joining the pack. But we will love Scotland too. If you only see friendship in your future with this pack, then we should leave. But if you can find happiness and love with them? It's worth taking the risk and staying. Even if it doesn't work out romantically, you'll still have a kickass pack and you'll still have us."

Trix nods “The threats are gone, now's the best time. What do you want?"

Rose grins. “Yeah, you're all about freedom of choice. Time to choose.”

My mind whirls as I try to figure out what to do.

"You two are sure you're happy either way?" I ask.

Rose smiles. “As long as the three of us stay together, we're good."

"I guess I should go give the guys the news." I rise and head towards the kitchen.

"You're really going to leave us hanging and tell them first?" Trix yells after me.

I shoot an unrepentant smirk at her over my shoulder. “Yep."

The pack is in the kitchen, all four of them bent over the island, talking quietly, strain on their faces. At my entrance, they straighten, unable to hide the disappointment in their eyes as they seem to assume my answer from my expression.

I don’t keep them in suspense. “We'd love to join your pack."

They blink at me in frozen shock for a moment before they swarm me, whooping and picking me up, carrying me back to the living room to join Rose and Trix.

"I take it we're staying?" Rose asks.

I nod, beaming. “We're staying."
