Not only is she fiercely protective of Aurora, but she's helped Enzo in some of his struggles with self-worth. The rest of us have always treated his issues with kid gloves, but she has no such patience and he's better for it.
I can't wait until we're bonded and things begin to settle down. What I've always wanted is right within reach and I'm terrified it'll float away before I can grab hold of it.

OLIVER IS FREAKING out, and I don't know how to help him.
He's not the only one. The last few weeks have been so chaotic, so much has changed, so of course it's the perfect time for doubts and worries to prey on all our minds.
Oddly enough, Aurora is the calmest of us all.
Which should ease the rest of us, but instead it's doing the opposite. We almost lost two of our future pack members on the same cursed fucking night. And it all goes back to Aurora's mother.
Callan and Enzo have buried themselves in work to find every bit of evidence against all three alpha pricks to help make sure they stay in jail for as long as possible. Eventually they'll get out though, and our pack will be the first stop on their revenge tour. Something we'll definitely need to prepare for.
It makes us all want to work harder and join our efforts to Aurora's, to change this shitty society to one where they'll have more agency and freedom and protections. Enzo especially has some ideas, which he's perfect for. He's been bored here, only representing the occasional petty shit, but if he starts fighting for omega and beta rights, he can really make a difference. He and Aurora can make a real power couple.
And I'm determined to get more involved with local politics like my mother has been trying to talk me into forever. We've patted ourselves on the back for our progressive ideals for long enough. All while Aurora has been on the ground floor of the fight and lost so much because of it.
With the protection of the pack, she'll have more opportunities too, instead of having to work from the shadows. She can finally put her name on her work, she can finally claim it.
We just need to get our marks on her first.

SOMEHOW, I'VE ENDED up the one making all the preparations for our pack bonding.
The others have grand plans, but they're terrible at actually implementing them. Well, my brother and Oliver anyway.And Enzo’s contributions are typically insane or impossible.
So are Trix’s.
Not that I truly mind handling it myself since I enjoy making lists and plans and putting everything in the proper order. And I know they'll help once I hand out specific jobs. The problem is it's keeping me from Aurora and the others. Between my job at the hospital, planning the ceremony, and keeping an eye on her father, my days are packed and I miss her. I miss all of them.
Ever since that horrible night where we almost lost Aurora and Rose, we've all been busy, pulled in separate directions. Our new pack mates have been focused on getting their things shipped here and their spaces set up while Aurora has spent most of her time with her father since they'll be losing each other soon. There are just a million things to be handled.
And all I really want to do is drag Aurora off somewhere and lick her until she screams and then trap her on my knot for hours.
But things are still a bit... off in that respect. While she said she wants to explore romantic and sexual relationships with all of us, she isn't ready for mate bonds yet, so we've all been keeping our distance, letting her set the pace. None of us want to push or rush her, no matter how tempting she is.
Hopefully once things settle down and we find our new normal, things will progress on that side. I'm willing to wait as long as it takes and I know the others are too.
