My eyes widen. “What? You want me to be the one who establishes the bonds?"

He smiles gently at me as the others nod and smile in support. “Of course. You're the reason we're standing here, our pack so much bigger than we ever expected. And we couldn't be happier or prouder to call you pack. So, please. Bite us, omega."

Rose is the first, since she's been my family the longest. She holds out her wrist with a smile and glittering eyes. I sink my teeth gently into her skin, berries and cream filling my senses.

Next up is Trix. I have to claim my girls first. She winks as I sink my teeth into her arm, tobacco and vanilla heavy on my tongue.

Instead of choosing between the guys, I just continue down the line, taking Enzo's hand and bringing his wrist to my mouth, letting his sweet woodsy flavor soothe me.

Then, Oliver with his petrichor and rain.

Grey is next, his caramel and cinnamon taste almost making me hungry.

And finally, Callan. My suave alpha, even his scent is fancy—figs and cognac.

Once they're all marked, I feel them all thrumming in my chest, their loyalty and love warming me from the inside out.

And the last shred of doubt inside of me is washed away by our connection.

This is exactly where I'm supposed to be. And these are exactly the people I'm supposed to spend the rest of my life with.

THE CELEBRATION LASTS long into the night, until fireflies join the flickering shop lights, making the town look even more magical than usual. I'm constantly in the center of my pack, our connection keeping us close together as we grow accustomed to it.

The town sure knows how to throw a party. Booze flows, music thumps, laughter rings, food cooks, everyone dances.

This is so much better than the welcome balls.

I’ve eaten my weight in birria tacos tonight. I’ve danced hard with my girls, drinks in hand, our guts aching from laughter.

And as the night wears on, the guys grow bolder and bolder with their touches until I'm all but panting for them. Everything has been so chaotic since that day everything came to a head, we've all been keeping our distance.

But they're mine now.

And I’m claiming them again. This time without the heat pheromones fogging everything up.

Callan pulls me from between the girls as a slow song comes on, his charming smile on full blast. Sometimes it's crazy to me that he’s not the politician following in his mother’s footsteps.

“Thank you for this.” I gesture at the party still raging on even as midnight approaches, swaying with one of my alphas beneath the starlight.

I know he worked hard on this celebration and it’s perfect.

“Thank you for staying here with us.” Callan dips his head, brushing our lips together in a teasing kiss, his fig and cognac scent making my head spin.

Grey steals me away, catching me in his arms when I stumble laughing into his chest. “Having fun, sunshine?”

I grin up at him. “A blast. This is perfect.”

He nips my ear, making me shiver. “Wait until tonight.”

Before I can drag him away to some shadowed alcove, Oliver is there at the chorus of the song, spinning me until the stars above us blur into streaks of light.

I’m panting and laughing when he spins me back to him, his hands sliding indecently low on my hips, pressing me against him.

“You’re all being mean tonight.”

Oliver laughs, his head tossed back as pure joy radiates from him. “Don’t worry, love. We’ll deliver.”
