“You fucking better.”

Before Oliver can drive me even crazier, Enzo is there, beaming wide and happy. “My turn.”

Oliver relinquishes me after smacking a hard kiss to my lips and Enzo whirls me away as the music changes to a sexy one that has him grinding against me.

I’m glad to see him looking so at peace. Enzo was the one I worried about with this bonding, since he’d spent so long dragging his feet.

“Any regrets?” I ask.

He shakes his head with a grin. “Not a single fucking one, baby. This is one of the best days of my life. Actually it might be the best.”

“Good.” My wrists rub against the sides of his neck, merging our scents together.

Enzo raises a brow at me. “Feeling restless?”

My face hurts from how much smiling and laughing I’ve done tonight, but my grin still widens no matter how much it aches. “No.”

For the first time in my life, the desperate itch to leave, to move on, to escape is quiet. The restlessness that has driven my entire life is gone.

I don’t have to run anymore.

We’re swaying at this point even though the music still pumps with a fast and heavy beat.

I clutch him closer to me. “There’s nowhere else I’d rather be.”

Fireworks explode in the sky above us, making me jerk back, and Enzo whoops. “Finally!”

Callan stomps towards us, his growl joining the boom of the explosions. “Dammit, Enzo. I said no fireworks.”

Enzo laughs, unrepentant as he slings an arm across my shoulders, and we stare up at the colorful illuminations glittering against the midnight backdrop. Callan wraps his arms around my waist, and one by one, the rest of our pack joins us until we’re all wound together.

The pack bonds pulse warm in my chest, their joy and contentment tangling with mine.
