She leaned her back against the jets, the bubbles rising to her chest.
I took a handful and rubbed it across her neck. “Let’s try to forget about tonight. I want you to relax and clear your mind.”
“Okay.”
She sank further into the water, extending her legs, her toes breaking the surface, covered in suds.
“Do you want your wine?”
She nodded, and just as I went to leave, she grabbed my hand and said, “Thank you. For everything, Dominick.”
Even the smallest grin that glowed across her gorgeous face made me smile.

As I went into the living room to get the glass from the coffee table, my phone chimed from my back pocket. I pulled it out and looked at the screen.

A little bee told us an interesting altercation went down tonight in a ladies’ room at Club Hub. This one was between Daisy and Kendall Roy. Sounds like there’s trouble in sisterly paradise, and someone is feeling a little stung.
We also heard Kendall is dating Dominick Dalton, the lawyer to many Hollywood stars, including Kendall and Daisy. Dalton and Kendall were seen leaving the club together tonight.
