“Walt? Everest?” I hear Moonlight’s voice and it feels like I’ve been drenched in an ice bath. I know the feeling of that all too well.
I pull away, and Walt grunts at me as he’s the one who glares at me like I did something wrong. His eyes are clouded with lust and he leans in again, nipping at my bottom lip.
Whit clears his throat and I force myself away from Walt. He glares at me and then he looks up at both his brother and Moonlight.
“She was trying to sneak out without us knowing.” He says.
My mouth drops open.
“I was going to take Coco for a walk. That’s all.” I say.
“Well, you’re not going alone.” Walt states with so much authority, it travels through my entire body and exits through my fingers.
Oh, God. He doesn’t know what he’s doing right now.
“I’ll take her out tomorrow before my meeting. I’m going to go back to my room. Goodnight.” I say and side step Walt like a crazy person.
He chuckles but shrugs his shoulders like he’s innocent. I need to start my night routine.
