Walt chuckles. “Nice to meet you too, Allegra, the non-best friend.”

After Allegra walks away, I wink at Marina as I walk over to the bench. I strip out of my jeans and t-shirt until I’m in my bra and panties. Walt watches me for a second and then does the same, leaving just his boxers on. I hand him his wetsuit as I put mine on. Thankfully, it’s the shorter kind, and it doesn’t take too long to get into. Zipping up, I giggle as Walt puts his on, but it’s a little tight.

Walking over, I stand on the bench as I zip him up. “I’ll get you a better fit next time. It was last minute.” I say.

“You better.” He teases as he drops another kiss on me.

“Don’t distract me. Come on.” I pull him over to the shower on the side. I pull both of us underneath as it sprays us. Not able to continue to look at Walt, I turn away. “You stare too much.”

Walt chuckles, but then he goes quiet as I shut my eyes, making sure everything gets soaked. Walt’s arm comes around my waist, pulling me closer and I feel his hands as it explores my body in this suit. As he grabs my breasts in his hands, Walt groans as I slap my hands over his.

“Don’t play with me, Everie. It hasn’t been long, but I miss being inside you already. I want in.” I feel as he bites my neck.

Sliding down and away from him, I step back out of the shower. He glares at me as I face him. “I’ll let you in, Walt.” Lifting my hand, I say. “I promise. Later. Come enjoy this date I brought you on first.”

“This is not a date. I’ll take you out on our first date soon.” Walt smirks. “And I guarantee you, you’ll give it up on the first date. I just know it.”

“A lady never kisses and tells or gives it up on the first date.” I say, pulling him with me towards the diving board. I climb up the brief steps and once I settle on the board, I turn to face him as he looks up at me while I bounce on the edge. “But I’m not a lady, am I, Walt?”

Walt’s smile widens as I bounce once more and do a flip and land in the large tank. Once I come back up, Walt has already joined me in the tank as Marina swims underneath me. Opening my eyes, she comes in between and propels me, making me spread my arms open. It always feels like you’re flying.

I laugh hard, needing this, and in no time, Marina and Walt become friends.

After having fun with Marina and exploring the rest of the aquarium where I’m sure I gave Walt more information than he needed about each of the inhabitants there, we lie on the IMAX theater floor staring up as they show my favorite thing; the constellation.

“Is the aquarium your favorite place to come?” Walt asks.

“No. This room is.”

“Why? Because you get to stare at the constellation?” He asks.

“No, because it’s my brother’s favorite place and where he taught me Morse code. Listen.” I say to Walt.

I shut my eyes as I listen to the messages in Morse Code and I don’t have to open my eyes as I know the room gives the illusion that it’s moving at the speed of light while it makes us feel like we’re a part of the night sky.

“Hunter used to always say even in the morning sky, he could find me and he did.” I smile.

“I thought you said you saved yourself?” Walt asks.

“Yes, I did by making myself shine in the morning sky like Hunter taught me. Sometimes, Walt, we shine even when we don’t want to and people try to take that from us. They get blinded by the sun so they can’t see whether it’s right or wrong on what they’re doing to you, but we make the final decisions on what we’re going to do. Whether it’s to keep shining or to burnout because of that one person who was too fixated on the brightness of who we are.”
