“Enough of that,” Rowe grumbles and steps back. “Let’s go cut the cake. I’ve been waiting to try it since I ordered it.”

“Maybe party planning should be one of your businesses,” I suggest as I drop my arm around his shoulders.

“Don’t get carried away, Zombie. I did this for you. All the while looking past the fact that your wife was around eight when I was born.”

His statement pulls a laugh from all of us. “Well, it’s a good thing you’re taken. We don’t have to fight over her.”

I hear angry little steps and sigh because I know who’s coming.

Rager comes marching my way, not bothering to acknowledge the surrounding men.

“Listen to me, curls,” he growls and pokes me in the chest. “If you hurt her, I’ll knock you out, then rip off your balls with my bare hands. Got it, ponytail?”

“I hear you, Rager. Now, can you return Tini back to her husbands? I’m trying to talk to my dad at my wedding.”

“Fuck you and your wedding.” He looks at my dad. “Keep him in line, silver.” Rager looks down at the outfit on his body as if remembering what he’s wearing, then back to me. “Don’t let this tutu fool you. I’ll rip your tongue out through your ass.”

The tutu swishes around his ass as he stomps off, grumbling to himself.

“What the fuck just happened?” My dad’s question makes us all chuckle.

I’m sure he doesn’t understand how the sweet, small woman he met earlier is threatening everyone suddenly.

“She has multiple personalities. You just met Rager. It’s okay, both of her husbands are therapists.”

My dad lifts an eyebrow. “Husbands?” He asks like that is the most important thing I’ve said.

“Yeah,” we confirm almost simultaneously.

He shakes his head. “I’d cut your mother if she thought she could have another husband.”

We grumble our mutual feelings with chuckles.

“It works for them, oddly,” I add, to be fair. Since I lived with them for four years, I’ve seen how much they care for each other and their twins.

When we enter the room again, Everie’s eyes find mine immediately, like we’ve been separated for hours. Her soft smile gives me that warm feeling that I felt was missing since I woke up in Tucker’s private hospital.

I know now that this is the happiest, I’ve been.
