WaltandIdecided we would make the best of this vacation or rather honeymoon with his, err, well, our family. I smile as we meet everyone at the port before getting on the yacht. Walt sort of slows down and I only notice because I’m walking a little behind him, out of the habit of always shielding myself from crowds and weird situations. Since Coco isn’t really here and she’s on her own vacation courtesy of Tennesse, picking her up for me and bringing her to Lake Tahoe, the Vegas side.

I don’t want to read too much into Walt slowing down, but maybe the yacht was a bad idea. As much as I wanted to stay in for the day after our wedding, it clearly isn’t a honeymoon if we don’t leave the villa.

Instead of saying anything to Walt about walking slower, I slip my hand into his. I don’t say anything as I walk by his side without looking at him. I know he’s looking my way, but I don’t want to return the gesture or else it might make me want to hug him or take him back to the villa. He wants to be here; I know because he was excited about it from the second, he finished showing me what a good morning is like from my husband. His words, not mine.

Walt keeps walking until we’re on the yacht. He doesn’t let go of my hand while he relaxes a bit, and he explores the yacht. I say nothing to him as he leads us down to the cabin. He checks out one of the rooms and then he goes to the shower. He stands there inspecting everything, and I know what this is about, but I won’t force him to talk about it. I won’t even pretend to be a therapist when that’s clearly Tucker’s profession. We leave that area, and he goes into each room doing the same thing. It’s a process that I will not take from him.

I can’t say for sure if Walt even realizes that he’s walking around with me practically attached to him or that his family is letting him process everything without saying a word, but either way, I’m glad that I can be part of this. Part of his process.

Once we get back to the deck, everyone is in their bathing suits except Walt and I.

“Want to get undressed?” I ask him.

This gets Walt’s attention as he gives me such a heated look. I need to take a deep breath so I can concentrate. “Disney, get your mind out of the gutter. I mean the outer stuff, so we can relax in our bathing suits like everyone else.”

“I like my first option better,” Walt says and leans in, biting my shoulder, sending a ripple effect on my entire body.

I slip my hand out of his and shake my head. “Absolutely not, Mr. Cambridge. You are not about to do whatever your eyes are telling me.”

“You can run away all you want, baby. I’ll catch you when you least expect it. Watch your bac—.” Walt stops talking when I remove my t-shirt dress revealing my pistachio green—my favorite Color—bikini that matches the tips of my nails. Walt narrows his eyes at me as he looks at me from head to toe. His eyes run back to the gold chain around my waist, right above my bikini bottoms.

I know that this could either relax Walt even more as the captain steers us away from the port or drive him crazy and retaliate in some crazy way. I place my t-shirt dress and pillow slide slippers on the seat, then turn to the girls, giving Walt my back. I hear Walt’s grunt, but I ignore it.

“So, do any of you know how to surf or, well, in this predicament, windsurf?” I ask.

Walt comes close, wrapping his arm around my waist, and I feel his naked chest against my back. Before I could hear Moonlight and Sparrow’s response, Walt dips his hand under my chin and makes me look up at him. “You keep wearing these little ass bathing suits that could have your pussy out if you sneeze wrong and you think I’m not going to do what my eyes are telling you?”

“I plead the fifth, Mr. Cambridge.” I smile.

Walt narrows his eyes at me, and he leans in, placing a quick kiss on my lips. When our eyes meet again, he smirks. “Alright, Mrs. Cambridge, alright.”

He lets my head go and I know he’s planning to do some crazy mess, but he’ll do it when I’m not paying attention. I’ll just have to be very attentive, but I am glad that he’s much more relaxed now. Walt lets my body go, but before he walks off, he slaps my ass so hard, my eyes widen and when I face him, he shrugs his shoulders. “Figured I’d mark you. You know, like a stamp. Keep playing, Everie.”

“What did I even d—.” My sentence is cut short as Walt dips his two fingers into my chain and tugs me to him. “Walt!” I yelp.

“Hmm… expensive, I like it.” He deviously smirks. “I’m going to break this waist chain while I break your body. Keep it on, baby. Keep. It. On. Everie.” Walt lets me go and tucks my hair behind my ears. “Everie…” he says, and nothing else. Then he walks off towards his brother and Rowe.

“Girl… I want to be a fly on the wal—,” I hear Sparrow say, but I don’t have to face her to know what stopped her from continuing her words because Rowe is glaring at her as a warning.

Moonlight chuckles and I face them again. “So, what kind of water trouble do you guys want to get into? I made sure they brought us some boards here.”

“Soooo,” Moonlight says to get my attention as we lay back on the deck soaking in the sun.

“Sooo,” I copy her with a smile on my face.

“When are you going to stop yawning?” She teases.

“I didn’t even notice.” I say, chuckling as another yawn escapes my mouth. “Blame Walt, he’s like the damn energizer bunny. I don’t know where he even has the energy to be performing like he is right now with Whit and Rowe. Boy Bands, my ass.” I tease even though I’m enjoying the performance. I sit up a bit on my elbows, lifting my shades looking at my husband. He looks good. I can’t deny that.

“Sounds to me like the jealousy part is gone?”

“Girl, you know that’s not going to go anywhere. I’m married to Walton Cambridge, the damn prodigal twin. Can you believe they said nothing about the handstand on the board picture you took of me but noooo, they want to comment on the half-faced picture of Walt that I posted? I’ve had to threaten to cut some bitches in my Instagram comments before and now.” I kiss my teeth and roll my eyes.

Moonlight throws her head back, laughing to her heart’s content and I join her because laughing is infectious.

“What are you two laughing about?” Sparrow sticks her head up from her nap.
