“I promise to limit my kisses to your lips, and we go back to my parents’ house tonight.” I wanted to take her to my place, make love to her all night long. The fact that my dad would pretty much know what we were doing would only mean I’d have to hear lectures from him. I had no problem with that, but I didn’t want Annabella to feel embarrassed by whatever dad would say. And the fact that dad seemed to really like and approve of Annabella, his advice might be stronger than usual. It probably was going to mean I fly back to Boston, but I’d fly around the world to hold her in my arms.
“I accept your terms,” she said, pulling me down into her embrace.
As soon as my lips made contact with hers, I knew that keeping my word wouldn’t be easy, but breaking it wasn’t an option.
