“Good luck.” I pat Leo on the back as Bea pulls him into the room, much the same way that Cam did to me.
We wait another thirty minutes before Bea comes rushing into the waiting room.
“We’re having a girl,” she beams as she and Cam embrace in another hug.
I look to Leo, and he’s grinning.
“Congratulations. Really happy for you.” I pull him into a hug just as he did with me.
Once we pull apart, the girls are showing each other their scan photos.
We grab lunch before we separate and head home.
When we enter the apartment, Cam hurries over to her pile of magazines and her laptop. Shuffling things about, she picks up a color swatch and rushes over to me.
“I’m thinking of this gray and this blue. See how they complement each other? With the white furniture, I think it would look really great.” She’s practically shaking with excitement.
“I’m happy to go with whatever you choose,angelo.” I place a kiss to her forehead.
I grab a bottle of water from the fridge and hold it up to her.
She nods and carries on looking through her papers and swatches. I head over to the bar and pour myself a scotch. “To our son.” I raise my glass as she looks over at me.
Her blonde hair is up in a messy bun, but a few small curls escape, falling around her shoulders. Fuck, if she isn’t the prettiest woman I’ve ever laid eyes on, and she’s all mine.
She lifts her bottle of water in a responding toast. “To our son,” then she takes a sip of her drink.
She buries her head back in her nursery pictures. I walk over and sit next to her, pulling her onto my lap.
“I thought you were going to let me have my way with you,angelo,” I whisper in her ear.
“So, have your way with me.” She smirks as she starts to unbutton my shirt.
Keeping her in my arms, I lift her from the couch.
I plan on spending the rest of the evening showing her how much I want her.
