Cam flops forward as I release her and rolls her head to the side.
“I think you ruined me,” she whispers, blushing from her cheeks down to her perky tits.
“Come on,angelo,let’s get a shower before the boy needs to feed.” I bend down and pick her up, holding her tightly to my chest.
After we’re both showered and lying in bed, my phone pings with a message from Leo.
“Who is it?” Cam whispers.
“Leo. He said he will update me in the morning, but I need to pack an overnight bag.”
“Oh, okay. We have his momma’s event tomorrow, and both our families are arriving.” Cam frowns looking down as she traces the lines of my pecs.
“We’ll work something out in the morning,bella.Now, let’s get you to sleep, Andrea will be waking soon.” I pull her close as I place a kiss to the top of her head.

“Cam, stop pacing. Everything is going to be fine.” I grab her wrist and pull her into my chest as Leo follows me into the lounge.
“What’s going on, Leo? Our parents are flying in today. Why do you need to leave now?” Cam wiggles to pull away from my tightening hold.
“I’ve got a lead we need to follow up in LA today.” Leo levels me with a look.
“What are younotsaying Leo?”
“The lead is Katie. She was in contact with Jade and is currently in a safe house. I spoke to Jackson last night and got the details of where she’s staying. She’s expecting us.” Leo huffs out an exaggerated breath.
I frown at the thought of visiting Leo’s ex.
“Great, so now we have the word of a whore to rely on.”
Cam looks up to me with uncertainty.
“Trust me, if there were any other leads, I’d fucking take them. As you can imagine, this news went down like a lead balloon with Beatrice. She’s not jumping at the chance of me seeing Katie again.” Leo grits his teeth.
“Well, you can’t blame her, she’s not exactly trustworthy.” Cam looks between us as she wriggles out of my hold. “How do you know she’s not setting you up?” Cam pops her hands on her hips.
“Look, Cam, the last place I want to be is going to LA to see that bitch. She caused nothing but stress for Beatrice. But I believe she knows where the child is, and besides, Jackson wouldn’t fuck us over. He’s too dependent on my money.” Leo pulls out his phone as it starts to ring.
Cam turns, and I pull her close to me.
“I need to do this, Cam.” I lift her chin so I can stare into her glistening deep blues.
“We need to leave now, plane’s ready.” Leo nods toward Cam and walks into the foyer.
“What am I supposed to tell our parents? You’re leaving me to deal with them on my own.” Her bottom lip juts out momentarily before she sucks it back in.
“This won’t be unheard of for us to have business. You don’t need to tell them anything but that. I’ll keep you posted on what we find out. Now I need to go,angelo.” I lean down to kiss her lips.
I place a kiss on Andrea’s head before I run the back of my knuckles over his chubby cheek. “Look after your mama for me.”
When I turn to leave, Cam is standing by the door with unshed tears glistening at her lids.
“I hate this. I can’t do this, Alessandro, it’s too much.” She shakes her head as she looks to the floor.
The pain in her eyes is like a knife in my heart. I want to stay and wrap her in my arms and show her how much I need her.
But I can’t, I have to go.
