“Well, that gives you a fifty-fifty shot that your pictures won’t matter.”

“That’s supposed to help me?” I asked.

“Well, what if these people end up going through a horrible divorce and they burn the pictures?” Eva asked.

“Wow,” Zoe said.

“Or what if the pictures bring them back together?” I asked. “Like they want to split up and they look at their wedding pictures. And the pictures are so good they end up getting back together.”

“You’re thinking too much into this,” Zoe said.

“Are we going to ignore how you called the sexy goalie before us?” Eva asked.

I froze. “That’s on my mind too.”

“A lot on your mind,” Zoe said.

“I didn’t even mean to do it. I just called him. I just…” I shook my head. “I heard his voice and thought you were sleeping with him.”

“Me?” Zoe asked.

“You’re losing your mind, Madison,” Eva said.

“I know I am!” I yelled.

Zoe and Eva looked at each other.

They did the wholebest friends having a silent conversation about youthing.

And I didn’t like it one bit.

I knew what they were mentally talking about.

A subject we all agreed to never talk about ever again.

“Don’t even say it,” I whispered.

“I think we have to say it,” Zoe said.

“It’s our job,” Eva said.

“No,” I said. I swallowed hard.“What’s happening now… is not like what happened last time.”
