“No,” I said.

Zoe looked at Eva. “You need to write a steamy horror scene and get yourself off.”

“That’s my afternoon,” Eva said with a wink.

“Okay, I have to go,” I said. “Are we good?”

“Are you going to get Maverick?” Eva asked, wiggling her eyebrows.
