Harmony was the woman I would spend the rest of my life with, no matter how long or short that life was. And damn it, I wanted to have kids before my time was cut short. I wanted to hold them. See them grow. Teach them.

“I’m gonna be an uncle,” Tie said, drawing my attention. I couldn’t help but mirror the grin he had on his face. “Man, I’m gonna show them all the best shit.”

“We’re all gonna be uncles, fucker,” Tally protested, earning him Tie’s middle finger.

I groaned, sitting back in my chair. “Think I’m regretting this shit already.”

There wasn’t many kids left around the club. The older generation had started to move on, and not all the children chose to stay with the club. We never pressured them. They were family no matter whether they were here or not.

Tie turned to Wreck who had been leaning against the wall silently during this little meeting, and by meeting, I meant my brothers forcing themselves in and demanding to be included. “Why don’t you and Del have any kids yet?”

Wreck smirked. “Didn’t want to be the test dummy.”

“Fuck off. Look at Athens, they make it work with a handful of brats running around,” I protested. “And Op with fucking twins on the way. Things may not be perfect, but they’re safer than they used to be. And with all this new shit like the security firm, we’re bringing in almost as much money as before we cut the drugs.”

“Yeah, and if we’re still looking at opening another Glow in Montgomery, we’ll be sorted.” Tally beamed with excitement about the prospect of a new strip club and new strippers.

“You need to stop thinking with your cock,” Mix scoffed.

Tally gripped himself in his hand and thrust his hips at Mix who just rolled his eyes.

“The danger will always be there. We’re strong and getting fucking stronger every day. Anyone tries to fuck with us… we’ll hold our own and protect our families.” My brothers all nodded at my words. They knew it was true. We’d give our lives for the people we loved every single day.

“Speaking of assholes trying to fuck with us…” Wreck started. “Any word on that crap with Mansel?”

I shook my head. “I’ve been keeping in touch with him, but so far, he’s got just as much as we have to work with.”

Mix frowned. “I’ll put out some feelers again.”

I nodded in thanks. “All right you bastards,” I growled, standing from my chair. “I need to go find my woman.”

They all came and placed the files on my desk before leaving. I quickly pulled the couple that had interested me the most and tucked them under my arm, knowing I would need to chat with Harmony about them. But for now, my body ached to be inside her. So this shit could wait.
