“Why don’t you both come over to my place… together?”
Isaac and Luke exchange looks.
“I know this is pretty shocking, but this is who I am. You either take me or leave me.”
Isaac and Luke say nothing, but their wordlessness speaks volumes. I could take back my invitation. but that wouldn’t be right. I need to be my authentic self.
My boss passes by me, and I know he is upset that I’m not working. I start to wiggle and shake. I start to dance for both Luke and Isaac.
I know they can’t help but get excited. I’m hoping that this will be enough to entice them to go to my place.
“If we come over, will there be more of this?” Isaac asks.
“Yes, lots of this.”
I continue to shimmy and rub up to both the guys. I do the best sexy dance possible. The guys seem to like what I am doing. Both of their sad faces are gone as they experience my sexy dancing.
When I finish my dance, Luke winks at me. He takes out a wad of money and gives it to me. Isaac does the same thing.
“Wow, you guys, this is too much,” I protest.
“No, it’s not,” Isaac says.
“You earned it,” Luke says.
Tears begin burning my eyes. I never expected this.
“Will you both come over to my apartment tonight?”
Luke and Isaac look at each other and then to me.
“I have to think really hard about this,” Isaac says.
“Me too,” Luke says.
My heart sinks.
“Well, think it over. I’m off at 2 am and then I’ll head home. It would be great if I found you guys at my apartment when I get there.”
I turn and walk away. My feelings are hurt. I’m not used to being rejected. I feel myself wanting to cry.
When I get to the dressing room, I begin dressing for my next number. I try to think positively about Isaac and Luke. They are so loving with me when we are together.
Thinking about this gives me a good feeling. I say a little prayer and feel confident that both men will show up tonight. My dad always says that if you pray hard enough, wishes will come true.
Why can’t the guys think outside the box? I finish dressing and open up my lunch box. All this worry is making me very hungry.
