“I just have a lot of things on my mind,” I say.
He sidles up to me and runs a hand up my arm. “Perhaps we can find something to do to help you relax and forget your worries, no?”
“I’m married,” I blurt out.
He shrugs. “No matter. Everyone takes a lover while on location.”
My eyes widen. “Well, I don’t.”
“You’re far too uptight, ma chérie. Why don’t you let me help you relax?”
When he grabs my upper arms and pulls me forward, I twist away. “Don’t touch me, Simon!”
“Come now, don’t be so rigid.”
“Get away from her,” a deep voice orders.
Heart in my throat, I look around Simon and see Nick standing in the doorway. A silver hellfire burns in his eyes and suddenly I feel bad for poor Simon.
I have a feeling if he doesn’t bolt right now, Nick is going to kick his scrawny ass from one side of Capri to the other.
