I wore my favorite T-shirt.It has a cute bear and readsYoga Bear. We’ll see if Tyler says anything about it.The mystery man’s T-shirt is folded and tucked in my dresser with all my other shirts. It’s a nice shirt, so I’m not going to toss it, but I don’t tote it around in my car anymore.

When I get to the farm, I park next to Tyler’s truck. He’s usually leaning on the bumper, waiting for me, and today is no exception. But Grayson is with him.

Tyler hurries over and opens my door.“Howdy.”

“Hi.”I feel my cheeks heat again. It happens whenever he makes a show of being chivalrous. But tonight, there are other reasons.Reasons I’m hoping he won’t read on my face.

“Cute shirt.”

“Thanks.How’s the garden coming along?”

“Slow, but getting there.”He’s standing next to me, ignoring everyone else around.

This is one of the many reasons I like this guy.He makes me feel singled out in the best way, like I’m special and deserving of attention.

“Joji goes on and on about how she appreciates it.”I keep hold of his hand even after I’m out of the car.

He leans closer and whispers, “Helping Joji scores me points with Clint.”

His expression makes me laugh.Tyler is good at that.

“Plus, I get to see you.”He winks, then looks to where Daisy is wrapping her arms around Grayson.“I think you have a new student today.I brought a gawker with me.Daisy is his fiancée.”

“Daisy is a good friend of mine. She and Grayson are beyond adorable. So cute.”

Tyler lifts an eyebrow and studies my face.“That’s one way of putting it.”

Daisy waves as she drags Grayson toward us.“I’ve been wanting to set y’all up.Didn’t I say that, Grayson?”

“Hey, Jasmine.”He nods.“She’s talked about it a lot.”

Tyler looks at them, then at me.His smile makes me think he’s not opposed to the idea of being set up and that thought ramps up the heat in my cheeks.

“And Tyler is one of the good ones. There might be one or two she won’t set up with friends.”Grayson chuckles.

“Daisy told me about Dag.”I’ve heard about several of the ranch hands.

“He’s a good guy, but not boyfriend material. He’d be the first to say that.”Grayson puts his arm around Daisy.“What are you doing after?”

She smiles up at him.“We should go out after class.Wouldn’t that be fun?”

While they are chatting about going to the diner, Tyler stares at my shirt. Is he even hearing the idea?

Grayson bumps Tyler’s shoulder.“Well, what do you think?”

His eyes widen.Then he blinks.“About?”

“Grabbing a late dinner or dessert after class.”Grayson grins at Daisy.Again.“The four of us.”

“Sure.”Tyler turns to face me.“I’d like that.”

A mixture of excitement and nerves has me shaking inside.“Me too.”

“Great.”Tyler winks, then tips his hat.“I best get to work.Enjoy your class.”

Like a lovesick pup, I watch as he saunters away. How am I going to make it through class? My nerves have me in knots.

And that gets worse when Tyler takes off his shirt and hangs it on a post. The man is teasing me.There is no other explanation.
