“It’s okay. Make yourself at home,” he says with a smile as he sets my suitcase down on top of the dresser. “I’m going to take a quick shower before bed.”

I nod, watching him as he looks around the bedroom. He’s so cute and a part of me wants to walk over to him and kiss him right now, but it just doesn’t seem like the right time, so I bite my bottom lip and watch him walk out of the bedroom.

I’m determined to tell him that we can share the bed once he gets out of the shower, but as I change into my pajamas and lie down, I can’t seem to keep my eyes open.

I’ll just close them for a moment, I think and just like that, I’m out.

ChapterSix

Hayes

I want to paint her so badly.

Betty is all color. Her bright red hair, those green eyes, her sunny smile. Looking at her has my fingers itching for a paintbrush so that I can try to capture her essence on canvas.

“I’ll do the dishes since you cooked breakfast,” she says with a smile as she pops the last bite of her toast into her mouth.

Her little pink tongue darts out, licking off any stray crumbs and I shift in my stool, trying to make room in my jeans for my growing cock.

Being around Betty is a sweet kind of torture.

“Are you working today?” she asks me and I shake my head.

“No, I’m off again today and then on for the next four nights.”

“Cool, then we can hang out together. Maybe we could watch a movie or something,” she says as she hops down from the stool and carries her dishes over to the sink.

“Sure, whatever you want.”

She hums as she looks under the sink for something and I frown.

“What are you doing?” I ask as I move to join her.

“I was looking for the dish soap.”

“It’s right here.”

She smiles as I pass her the bottle of Dawn.

“It’s going to sound weird, but I love doing the dishes.”

“Really?”

“Oh, yeah,” she says with a self-conscious laugh. “I think it was because we always had help around growing up, so I never really got to do it for myself. Then when I first went to college, I ate at the cafeteria, so I still didn’t have to do them.”

“When did you move out of the dorms?” I ask her as I grab a dish towel and start drying.

“The first chance that I got. It was my sophomore year since we were required to live on campus for our first one.”

I nod and she goes on.

“My parents got me this really fancy place close to campus, which was cool. I didn’t really like living with a bunch of roommates, so it worked out in that way.”

“I don’t like living with roommates either,” I admit and she smiles at me as she passes me a plate.

“You like your space.”

I nod even though it wasn’t a question.
