“Kind of the point,” I smile sweetly.

“You’ll pay for this later, sweetheart,” Kingston warns me and I kiss his cheek.

“Oh cheer up, it’s Christmas,” I sing song.

“You’re an evil woman,” Holden grumbles.

“Oh Holden, I know you mean that from the bottom of your heart,” I snicker, pulling out the orange juice I asked for from the fridge.

“Kingston is right, you should be glad you’re cute,” Tristan mumbles, still wiping sleep from his eyes.

“Does it help that I made breakfast?” I ask.

“You made it?” Caleb asks.

“I did,” I nod at the table.

“Oh snap, you haven’t made this in years,” Thorn grabs the spatula to cut a piece out.

“What is this?” Holden follows suit.

“This is an egg casserole with bacon and cheese. She used to make this for me every Christmas. It’s one of my favorites,” Thorn gushes as he spoons a forkful in his mouth.

“I know it’s not much,” I tell them, and they all stare at me.

“This is more than enough. Just the thought means something to us,” Tristan crosses the room and kisses my cheek. Kingston growls and we all laugh at that, so possessive.

“Lighten up, sweetie, you got to sleep in,” I pat Kingston’s stomach and push him toward the table.

“Once you’re done, put your dishes in the sink and we’ll open presents,” I say and again they stare at me.

“Presents?” Caleb questions.

“Everyone deserves presents on Christmas,” I smile at them and their faces take on delight.

They scarf down their food, practically throwing their plates in the sink before jumping over the couch and sitting.

“Heathens,” Kingston says as he carries his plate to the sink and then walks around to sit on the couch like he’s always a gentleman.

I chuckle as I go to the tree and pass out the gifts to all of them. They each got the same cufflinks like Kingston, except with different colored stones. Caleb’s stones are green, Tristan’s are black, Holden’s are blue colored, Thorn’s are gray. I got them to match their eyes. Tristan’s was hard because his eyes are so dark that they look black. Sometimes they look like a storm. On top of the cufflinks, they each got a Cosmograph Daytona Rolex watch. I’ll make it up to Kingston later since it was his money, but the smiles on their faces makes it all worth it.

“You’re an amazing woman,” Holden beams and I can feel my cheeks heat in a blush.

“Just a minute ago, I was an evil woman, Holden. You need to make up your mind,” I snort, though his compliment means everything to me.

“I take it back, you’re amazing,” his smile is so big they could see it from space, but he’s happy and that’s all that counts.

“Well thank you, but this was nothing. I just wanted to show you all I care,” I give him a big smile and move to sit next to Kingston as the guys admire the watches and cufflinks.

This makes me happy.

Holden

It was one hell of a wake up call this morning. And yeah, a book is what I grabbed for an intruder. I took the ribbing like a champ. She cooked us breakfast, that so made up for it. Then she took it one step further and got us gifts. Tristan needed that, to feel like he belonged. Seeing him smile made it all worth it and the growl that it got out of Kingston when Tristan kissed Briar’s cheek made it all that much better.

Kingston

I brush her hair to the side so she looks at me. I smile at her, at my bride-to-be. She went out of her way to make sure these guys were taken care of. Holden is right, she’s amazing.
