“No, no, dear, I live across the road. I’ll be fine.”

She stands a moment longer, what for, I have no idea, but eventually she turns and heads out.

I follow her and lock the door as soon as she’s across the road. I need to grab my shit and get the fuck out of here before Jay and I even think of picking up where we were so rudely interrupted.

My body’s still thrumming from our unfinished flare of passion, but my instincts tell me it’s a good thing. Jay walks out of his office, his trousers all sorts of bulging.

“Are we going to finish what we’ve started?”

His deep voice washes over me and I chastise my body’s reaction as my blood resumes its racing and my heart its thumping.

“It’s late.” I turn, grab my keys, and make to push past him.

His hand grips my wrist. A gaze like sunset and honey causes me to pause. His tongue rides his bottom lip and his nostrils flare.

“I do believe we both deserve a grand finale after tonight.”

He tugs me toward him and kisses me.

His mouth demands and his hand press against my back, forcing my body into his. There’s nothing gentle about his desire. It’s hard, but not painful and completely destroys any misgivings I might have had about walking out of here not ever wanting him again.

I whimper as he pulls away.

“Let me know when you’re free. I’m tired of fucking in this place.” He throws a hand in the air towards the practice.

And with that he turns and leaves. I lean against the counter.

What. The. Fuck!

My fingers stroke my thoroughly kissed lips, and my body begs me to run after him. But my head and my heart know better. This man. This fuckable god from Africa is going to be my undoing and there’s nothing I can do to stop it.
