CHAPTER FOURTEEN

Jay

“Just close.” I jab the remote of the garage door after switching off the car’s engine.

The large metal sheet descends, but I hop out and waste no time heading up to the shower. I lose a few buttons as I strip on my way up the stairs, dropping my work cloths in small fabric puddles along the way. A cold one is not on my thoughts, not that they work anyway. I need to finish what I started at the clinic, and since it can’t be with Simmi under me, it’ll be by myself in the shower. Fucking depressing!

With a flick of a tap, I step beneath the cool waterfall and grip my painfully hard cock in one hand. With one hand pressed against the wall for support I picture Simmi splayed out on my bed. Her pussy red and soaked. I can almost smell her sex.

Her curls spread around her face like chocolate waves. Her breasts plump and her nipples hard as pebbles. The sweet soft pucker of her mouth calling to me as her hands dip down between her legs.

I sink to my knees, my come spilling over the tiles and washes down the drain. My body jerks and shudders, then calms. The water continues to wash over me as I twist and sit. My need for her is driving me insane. I know hers is, too. I’m not dancing around her childhood issues any longer, and I know just how to make her see she’s mine.

Turning off the tap, I step out of the shower and grab a towel, wrapping it around my waist. I wonder how much longer I can keep pleasuring myself before my hand drops off from overuse. I pull a comb through my hair and leave it loose. I trot down the stairs, picking up my clothes as I go, basketball chucking them into the open top loader in the laundry.

Yes. I’m a genius. A thrill rushes through my veins. No more tense outpatient visits. No more avoiding or playing games. I’ll give her a week and she’ll be begging me for more.

After pouring a whiskey, I stroll out to the deck. I like this house even if it’s a rental. It accommodates my personality. It has ample privacy on the ocean facing side and it’s shielded by bushland all around. From the porch, one has a clear view of the azure waters of the Pacific. I make a mental note to ask the property manager if he’d approach the owners on my behalf. It couldn’t hurt to make an offer.

My phone vibrates. I look down and My moms name flashes across the screen.

Hi Ma.” I hold the device to my ear

“Hello kiddo.” Her raspy cigarette laden vice echoes from across the continents and through the earpiece. “I her Cheryl’s missing?”

“Ja. I sigh and pinch the bridge of my nose with my thumb and forefinger.

“She’s still not signed those papers has she.” Bitterness rides my mother’s tone.

My mother, father and eldest brother left South Africa for greener pastures more than a decade ago. We used to be a tight knit family. The violence and terror reigning the country of our births soon saw us scattered across the globe.

“Yup. I’ve got the lawyer looking into it.” I long to feel the comfort of her arm draped across my back as he did when I was younger and needed advice and comfort.

“Good. That woman’s cause you enough grief to last three lifetimes…”

We chat for another ten minutes as she updates me on my father’s health and my brothers’ farming endeavors. I say nothing about Simmi and only tell her about the clinic and the town I now call home.

“I hope you’ll consider coming over to visit this Christmas?”

“I’ll try my best.” I reply imagining me taking Simmi over to meet my folks in London and a thrill runs the length of my spine.

I place the phone on the deck beside me and look to the heavens.

Tonight, the moon sits plump and ripe on the horizon, her surface reflecting a soft ochre from the reflecting rays of a sleeping sun. My mind once again grabs at the image of Simmi, naked, and moaning as I make her come over and over again.

I throw back my head and down the room temperature amber liquid. Tomorrow is a new dawn, and the first day in my plan to make Simmi mine. But tonight, I’d keep the moon company.
