Stone eventually stops moving, then looks down at me.

I run my fingers through his hair. “I did, too.”
He kisses me sweetly, then gets up. My body is Jello. I’m not sure if I’ll be able to get up, but I manage. As I get dressed, I realize this is a first for me. I’ve never had sex with a guest staying at our B&B before. Should I leave and go back to my own room? Should I stay? I have to work in the morning, so I’ll have to wake up early… and what if another guest sees me leaving Stone’s room? Is that unprofessional?
“You can stay.” Stone interrupts my thoughts.
Did he just read my mind?
“Oh, um, that’ll be nice,” I reply. I guess that settles what I’m going to do. I’d rather stay with Stone tonight than go back to my own room anyway.
He rounds the bed and stands just inches from me, taking my hands in his. He’s wearing nothing but his boxer briefs, and I only have my bra and underwear on. Although I was sweating hot a few moments ago, I’m getting cold now.
“Do you want to stay?” he asks.
Looking at him, I realize my response to him may not have sounded like I definitely want to stay. I smirk. “Of course I want to. I enjoy being with you, Stone.”
He smiles, and I love the way his whole face lights up. His eyes twinkle and in the soft light, I see again how unique they are being two colors.
“I love your eyes,” I say, realizing I never mentioned this to him before. “I’ve never met anyone with different-colored eyes before.”
“Thank you. It’s called heterochromia. I’m actually surprised you never mentioned it before. Usually, it’s one of the first things people notice when they meet me.”
“Oh, I noticed right away, I just didn’t say anything. I figured you were probably tired of everyone pointing it out to you.”
He laughs. “You’re not wrong,” he says, wrapping his arms around my waist.
I wrap my arms around him as well, and the heat from his body warms me. “I love your eyes,” I say.
“I love your eyes, too,” he says, kissing my forehead. “Do you want to get in bed? You feel a little chilly.”
I nod, and Stone moves to pull the covers back. Then, he moves across the room to his suitcase and pulls a t-shirt out.
“Here,” he says, tossing it on the bed in front of me. “You can wear this if you’d like.”
“Thanks.” I undo my bra, not wanting to sleep with it on and toss it to the floor.
Stone stops and watches me. “Your body is so sexy,” he says.
I blush, although it’s reassuring to know he finds me so attractive. “Thanks. You’re not too shabby yourself.”
I pull the t-shirt over my head, and then Stone and I get in bed. He pulls me close to him and kisses me on the lips. “Tonight has been amazing,” he says before kissing me again.
I feel as if I’ve died and gone to heaven. Stone is nothing short of a gentleman, and the chemistry between us is unlike anything I’ve ever experienced before. I have no idea where this is going, or what will happen when he goes back home to Tacoma on Monday, but Idoknow I don’t want to waste the little time I have left with Stone this weekend.

I’m woken by the sound of an alarm, but it’s not mine. The room is still dark, so why is there an alarm going off before sunlight?
I feel movement beside me, and I suddenly remember that Olivia spent the night. The alarm stops, and I roll over to find Olivia getting out of bed.
“Good morning,” I say, startling her.
