Taking a deep breath, I set my wine glass on the table and reach out to take her hand in mine. This is my chance to let her know how I feel. “I honestly don’t know for sure, but I can tell you, without a doubt in my mind, that I want to spend more time with you. I want to come back and visit you here as soon as I can, and I want you to visit me in Tacoma sometime. If you want to, that is.”

Olivia’s eyes soften, and her shoulders relax. Her lips lift a fraction, and I can tell she likes what I’ve said so far. Or, at least, I hope she does. I want to tell her more before she says anything, though, so I dive right in.

“I like you, Olivia. I like you a lot, and I don’t want what we had these past few days to just be a fling. I want to see you again. Ineedto see you again. What we have going on here is too good to just let it go.”

Olivia doesn’t say a word, but her eyes and smile say it all. I can tell she likes what I had to say.

She springs toward me, wrapping her arms around my neck, kissing me hard on the lips. I wrap my arms around her and kiss her with all I’ve got, pouring all my emotions into this kiss. I want Olivia to know how much she means to me, even though it’s been a short time since we first met. I’m going to miss her when I leave tomorrow, and I can’t wait to be able to see her again.

Olivia takes me by surprise and moves herself, so she straddles my lap. She never pulls her lips away from mine, though. My hands settle on her hips, then gently move up a few inches under her shirt so I can touch her skin. Thoughts of other people staying at the B&B––or Lorelei––walking out on the deck and seeing us cross my mind, but I don’t care. I don’t want to stop.

Suddenly, Olivia pulls back. We both breathe heavily as we stare into each other’s eyes.

“Sorry,” she says before reluctantly getting off me. She sits back on the couch where she was before, by my side, and picks her wine glass up off the table, taking a long sip.

I do the same, taking a gulp of my wine to calm myself before replying, “Don’t apologize,” I say, adjusting myself in my seat. My dick strains against the zipper of my shorts.

“I’m just so attracted to you, it’s hard for me to keep my hands off you.” My head whips toward her, surprised by her confession.

“I feel the same way,” I tell her, softly caressing her arm with my hand. “That’s why I don’t want to wait too long to see you again.”

“So, when will that be? When can we see each other next?”

I smile at her question. I’m elated that she feels the same way I do, and now we can make plans to spend more time together.

“Well, when I get back from Denver, I can come back here to see you on your days off.”

“You’d do that? Drive all the way over here again after traveling?”

Nodding, I reply, “Yeah. I don’t mind.” I smirk. “I’ve got my Range Rover, so driving’s not a chore.”

She laughs and playfully hits my leg. “Yeah, I guess so. But, seriously, I could head to Tacoma instead.”

Her comment makes me smile. The fact that she’s willing to drive all the way to Tacoma to see me is heartwarming. “Do you want to do that?”

She shrugs. “I was actually thinking that maybe I’ll call my friends Chelsea and Brianne to see if they want to hang out one day. I haven’t seen them in a long time, so I could spend part of my trip with them and part of it with you.”

Although I’d rather have more time with her, I don’t blame her for wanting to see her friends. It’s actually quite convenient that they live so close to me. “That sounds like a great plan.”

“I’ll call them tomorrow and see if that works for them. If it doesn’t, I’ll just spend more time with you,” she says with a mischievous smile.

“I’m definitely okay with that,” I say before leaning forward to kiss her again.

Now that we have plans to reconnect next week, a weight lifts from my shoulders. I feel better about our relationship and the possibilities of where this can lead.

Olivia and I enjoy the sunset and finish the bottle of wine before heading upstairs to my room. We make the most of our last night together, and she falls asleep in my arms.

I briefly awake at the crack of dawn when Olivia does. She has to work today, so no sleeping in for her. She softly kisses my lips before heading out the door.

A few hours later, I make my way downstairs for breakfast. I sit at one of the smaller tables in the dining room, and Olivia visits with me when she can.

“I’m going to check out after I eat,” I tell her, and she pouts.

“I don’t want you to go.”

“I know, but we only have to wait about five days to see each other again,” I assure her. “It’ll go by fast.”

“Lorelei and I will probably both be back in the kitchen when you’re ready to check out, so ring the bell, and I’ll come out to help you.”
