“That’s good to know, son. Simone is a very special young lady and will make you a wonderful wife.”
“Of that, I have no doubt, sir. I am sure she will make a great partner here at the firm, as well.”
“I was hoping you would make that move. I guarantee you won’t be disappointed. My baby girl is a brilliant lawyer. No doubt she will be an asset to your firm. This merger is going to be beneficial to both families.”
“I agree. In fact, last night I offered her a position here. She’ll be here for lunch in just a few minutes. She’s going to take a look around to see how she likes the place.”
