“I don’t know and that’s the problem.” She huffs out a breath. “Ryan’s waiting for you to go to bed.”
“I’m here if you need to talk,” I say.
“I know.”
I head over to Ryan, and we go into the bedroom. As we’re getting ready for bed, Ryan says, “Strange day.”
“A good day,” I amend. “We have our new home.”
“That’s true.” He wraps his arms around my waist, pulling me against him. His hands rest on my bum. “You’re very beautiful.”
“So are you.”
“Not sure I approve of being called beautiful, Lia.”
“Well, that’s what you are to me.”
He peers down at me, love shining in his eyes. “I want to make babies with you.”
“Right now?”
“Right now, tomorrow, the day after.”
I grin. “You’re a horny bastard.”
“It’s being around all these pregnant women.”
“Bailey looks like death and can’t stop puking.”
“It’s not without drawbacks, but the thought of you carrying my kid…” His hand goes to my belly, pressing against there. “Fuck, that gets me hot.”
“We’d better get practicing then,” I say.
He kisses me. “I love you, Mrs Malone.”
“I love you too.”
