I playfully push her back. “God, I’ve missed you. As for your question, that’s a secret I’ll never give away. Can’t have you making googly eyes every time they come in here.”

“Fine, fine, be a greedy bitch. Where are they anyway? My spank bank has been getting pretty empty lately.” She makes a thrusting motion as if she were about to go to pound town just thinking about my guys.

“They’re out running errands today so you unfortunately only get to look at me for the next few hours. How will you ever live?” I say mockingly, putting my hand over my heart.

Tara rolls her eyes as a grin splits her face. “Alright, what are you going to have? Your usual?”

“As if I would ever change what is already perfect. Give me the usual.” I always get the same meal. Chicken Tikka Masala, jasmine rice, naan bread, and pakora. I might be a smaller woman, but I sure know how to eat. These meals are recommended for three people, but I basically lick my plate clean every time I’m here.

“I’ll go put your order in. I have to do some work in the back office and call some suppliers before we close today, but I’ll be back as soon as possible so you can tell me all about the recent sexcapades with your harem of men.”This girl is not giving up on getting that spank bank material.

My face cracks into a wide grin as I wave her off to do what she needs for the business. I check my phone to see a message from the guys telling me that Thiago worked his magic to swindle the seller out of the guns.Just like I knew he would. That beautiful, tanned man knows how to play to his strengths to get what he wants.Isn’t that how he got you? With his impressive, strong tongue?I let out a low chuckle as the blush creeps up my neck from that thought. There’s another message letting me know they’re about to go check out the lead on my sister. I type back a quick reply asking them to keep me updated and lock my phone, putting it face down on the table.

When I look up, there's a familiar figure lingering in the doorway of the restaurant. The sun shines in from behind him, casting a shadow over his face, but it’s the tension in the air that tells me exactly who it is. Greyson Nash’s eyes slide over the entire restaurant until they lock with mine. They don’t give away any hint of surprise and his lip tugs into a side smirk. His long strides cut the distance between us as he welcomes himself to sit at my table.

The only reaction I have is a sharp glare pointed in his direction. Of course, he doesn’t ask if anyone is sitting there. He’s the type of man that does and takes what he wants without asking. After what feels like an eternity, he finally speaks.

“Hey, Lya,” is all he utters, as his bright blue eyes try to cut a path right to my soul.Hey Lya? Hey? That’s all you have to say? No ‘Oh fancy seeing you here, I didn’t realize you’d be here. You know the place you always go to and have never seen me before? Yeah, that one.’

“Um hello, Mr. Nash.”

He looks at me with an amused expression. “Mr. Nash was my father. You can just call me Greyson. No need to be so formal.”

“Okay,Greyson. What are you doing here?” I ask as sharply as possible. This man might make me feel something deep inside of me, but I’ll never let him see it.Besides that one time in the meeting when I seemed to have a problem even forming words.

“I didn’t realize I was unwelcome. Is this your place?” His brows pinch together as he slightly tilts his head with the question.

“No, I just meant… Never mind. My good friend and her family own this place so I’m here a lot. I’ve just never seen you here before, is all.” I mimic his head tilt back with a questioning gaze. It’s not that he can’t know about this place, but Tara is here basically all day, every day, so if a man like Greyson ever came in, she surely wouldn’t have shut up about him for days.Like his beautiful blue eyes, his impeccable body, his sexy broad chest filling out everything he wears, and that sharp jaw that could probably cut the clothes right off of my body.

“Lya?” I hear my name fall from Greyson’s lips, pulling me from my daydream. I really need to get myself checked out. I have three gods that I get to have sex with every day. I don’t need a fourth.

Blinking rapidly, I stare at him once again. “I lost you there for a second,” he says with a grin that tells me he knew exactly what I was thinking about. “As I was saying, I was in the neighborhood meeting an old friend. I love Indian food and my friend recommended this restaurant, so I thought I’d try it out. I never expected the company they keep inside of this place. If I would have known someone like you would be here, I would have come in a long time ago.”Is he flirting with me or am I daydreaming again?

“You were meeting someone in the West Side?” I say cautiously, my voice filled with skepticism.

“Yeah, an old friend of mine that I met through my father’s company. He was originally from the West Side and refused to leave it.”

“Hmm. I can’t say I blame him. The West Side has many faults, but the locals are good people.” I’m still unsure if I fully believe him, but I let it go.I’ll find out what you’re hiding, rich boy. Sooner or later, your secrets will be mine.

“So I’ve heard. I hear there’s more to the West Side than meets the eye. You decide to hang out here instead of working today?”

Ahh, there he is. The cocky prick is back. His egotistical grin pulls me from the overwhelming sensation I feel with him near me. “You see, I have these things called employees,Mr. Nash. I’m not sure how your business works, but VPAC Tech believes in allowing free-flowing creation amongst our staff. I do not need to nor care to micromanage each of my employees and the progress they are making. I like control, but I also understand the need to let them create things without breathing down their necks. When they have something, they will tell me. If I feel like I need them to work quicker, I’ll tell them. Simple as that.” I say matter-of-factly, making sure my gaze bores a hole right through his skull.

A hint of anger flares through his eyes, but he quickly blinks it away replacing it with what seems like... lust?

“I mean no disrespect, Lya. I was just curious about the progress on my app. I didn't mean to offend you in any way.” There is no hint of humor or malice in his tone.

Letting out a sigh, I realize I’m being unnecessarily hostile to a guy I don’t even know. “It’s alright. It’s been a long, busy week so I’m just a little wound up. You’re fine.” Realizing this is my chance to figure out more about the elusive Greyson Nash, I start to ask him questions.

“How is Love in Sight doing? And what made you interested in starting a dating site?”

I’ve obviously asked the right questions because it’s clear this is something he’s passionate about. “When starting a business, you need to realize what there is a demand for. We live in a society that is fast-paced, where people spend most of their time at work or at home. No one has time to pick people up at a bar and if you’re trying to be picky, a bar really isn’t the best place to find your soulmate. Not trying to be crass, but it’s the truth. The future of dating is meeting people online. So my site allows people of the same interests and same tastes to be perfectly matched by the most elite relationship advisers and researchers.”

The softness around his eyes shows me that this truly is something that he loves to do.Maybe he isn’t the world’s biggest asshole after all.

“I can tell it’s something you're passionate about. The way you talk about your business reminds me of the love I have for mine,” I say in observation.

“It’s something that I was able to create on my own, something I was able to start from the ground up, making it more special to me. I could’ve taken over my father’s company, but I would’ve been bored until my dying day if I’d done that. So I figured I would try something I’m interested in.” His eyes still have that spark in them while he talks about Love In Sight. “Enough about my company though, what made you start VPAC Tech?”
