“Since you lost, I think it’s only fair that I get to pick the song you sing to Hal.”

“No way. That wasn’t part of the deal.”

“It was implied. Now let me think of an epic song… Hmmm. I think you should sing ‘I Will Always Love You’ by Whitney Houston. Hal will love it!” I’m laughing so hard, I can barely get the idea out there.

“Seriously? You don’t mess around do you, Blaze?” A blush creeps up my cheeks at his nickname, as I nod at him, telling him I’m dead serious. “Ugh, fine I’ll do it, but no recording this. I know you’d hold it over my head forever.” He grumbles as he gets out of the booth to approach Hal.

The moment Greyson starts singing, Hal’s face goes from confused, to angry, to amused. Hal’s actually pretty into it now that he’s not trying to knock Greyson out with a frying pan. Surprisingly, Greyson has a pretty good voice. By the time he’s done singing, the entire diner erupts in applause, only inflating Greyson’s ego more than it already was.

The more Iget to know Greyson, the more I realize how much I enjoy spending time with him. I really think that he would fit in well with the guys and I want to see where this goes. It’s time for them to finally meet.

“Hello, beautiful,” Greyson’s sexy, gruff voice comes through the phone as I strip out of my dress to get in the shower.

“Hey, I’ve been thinking…”

“Yeah?”

“I think it’s time for you to meet Zep, Rian, and Thiago. Well, officially,” I mumble, trying to get it out before it sticks in my throat.

“You think so?” he asks.

“Yeah. I mean, I’ve loved spending time with you the past nine days and I think that my feelings are strong enough that it would be a good idea for you all to meet,” I explain. “Unless you don’t want to, or think it’s too soon.”

The silence through the phone causes me to have a mini panic attack. “Okay, I will. I really like you, Blaze.”

Relief escapes me as I release the breath I didn’t even know I was holding. “Want to come over tonight? It’s a laid back night, the guys are just downstairs playing video games and I can cook.”

“Send the address, Blaze. I’ll be there.”

“Okay, see you soon,” I say through the beaming smile on my face. A squeal escapes me as I shimmy my shoulders in excitement and step into the shower. The happiness I feel about Greyson coming over is gone as soon as I realizeI’m about to introduce him to my three crazy protective boyfriends.

I pullon a pair of skinny jeans and a Craibridge University alumni shirt before I head downstairs. The sun reflecting off of Greyson’s silver Aston Martin catches my eye through the dining room window.Shit, he’s here.

I sneak out the door leading to the garage to avoid alerting the guys. I should have told them Greyson was coming, but I want them in their natural element. They can be intimidating when it comes to me, so it’s probably best they don’t have time to come up with a plan to scare him off.

“You alright?” Greyson says sweetly, unlike his usual arrogant self, as he shuts his car door and heads my way.Looks like he can tell I’m nervous.

“I, umm, it's just that I probably should have given the guys a heads up that you were coming over.” I laugh nervously as I take a step toward him.

“We can always see each other another time if it’s too much.”

Instead of answering, I grab his hand and lead him toward the front door. The feel of his rough palm against mine sends a surprising shiver through my body.I hope this feeling never goes away.I take in a deep breath and open the door, my heart beating like it's on a mission to escape my chest.

I hear the guys in the living room bickering back and forth over a video game. They like to place bets on everything, so I’m sure they have an ongoing one as we speak. Greyson and I are still holding hands as we slowly approach the living room. I have a death grip on him, but if it’s hurting he doesn’t show it.

“You damn cheater!” Rian yells at Zep. There’s my hot-headed Rian.

“Don’t be a sore loser, it’s not my fault you suck at this game.”

“I do not suck at it. I’m pretty sure you know the cheat codes or you play when I’m not around so you can get better at it,” Rian barks out.

“Bro, I hate to say it, but you suck at this game. You might be great with computers, but you’re awful at this,” Thiago says teasingly as Rian’s glare goes between him and Zep.

Seeing all three of them so casual and in their natural element makes my heart flutter. Each of them have fucked up shit in their past, but when they’re like this, it’s like all of the pain vanishes. I wish I could hold onto these moments forever.

I let out a cough to announce my presence. All three sets of eyes land on me, then shift to Greyson. Each reaction I get is different. Rian’s eyes narrow as he pointedly glares at Greyson. Zep looks like he’s surprised to see both of us standing here instead of me alone. Thiago’s throwing a smirk at Greyson, likely from amusement about what’s about to happen.
