“Hey guys, I asked Greyson if he wanted to come over to hang out and meet you.” I can hear the nervousness in my voice as I try to slow my heartbeat.

Silence fills the room and no one makes a move or attempts to say anything for what feels like an eternity.

“Hey Greyson, glad you could join us. Have you ever played Rainbow Six Siege before?” Zep is the first one to break the silence. I give him a soft look, thanking him for breaking the tension.

“Can’t say that I have, but I’m a fast learner, just ask Lya here,” Greyson replies with a casual smirk that says this isn’t a big deal. Of course he hasn’t played this game. Judging from what he told me the day of our putt putt date, he’s probably never played any game.

“Well, you can’t be much worse than Rian,” Thiago says teasingly. “Hey! I’m just telling the truth,” he yells as he dodges the pillow Rian just threw at him.

“Alright, Greyson. Show us what you’ve got then,” Rian says in a cold, detached tone. I guess I can’t blame him for his standoffish attitude. I did have Greyson show up unannounced, but Rian needs to at least try instead of giving Greyson the cold shoulder. The tightness in my chest is slowly evaporating, but I keep my defenses up just in case this goes south quickly.

Greyson grabs the extra controller off the table and settles between Rian and Zep on the couch. Seeing as I don’t think they’re going to murder each other in the next ten minutes, I state, “I’m going to make dinner. You guys keep playing, I’ll be back soon.” Before I turn to leave, my eyes plead with the guys to be on their best behavior. There’s a fat chance of that, but it’s worth a shot.

My eyes land on Greyson before I leave. He stares at me like I’m the air he breathes, before he gives me a quick wink and turns his attention back to the guys. I shake my head, wondering what the hell I’ve just gotten myself into.

As I drift further away from the living room, I can hear the guys giving Greyson directions on what he’s supposed to do.

I could’ve gone backinto the living room the moment I got done preparing the bacon-wrapped chicken, but I decide to take my time and mess around in the kitchen instead. I wanted to give the guys time to adjust to Greyson without me being there. The more time they get to spend without me being in the room hovering, the more I feel like they will be their true selves around him.Not sure if that’s a good thing or not.Once I put the chicken in the oven, I head back to the living room.

I hear the guys talking about something so I pause right outside the living room to snoop on their conversation.

“You’re telling me you’ve never had jalapeño kettle chips and cottage cheese together?!” Thiago says dramatically, like he’s offended.

“Gross, dude. In what world does that sound appetizing?” Greyson scoffs.

“But have you actually tried it? No. So you can’t say it’s gross. I swear, man, it will blow your mind.”

“I hate to say this and inflate his ego more, but Thiago’s right. It is a pretty life-changing combination,” Rian says. His tone seems lighter than before. That’s a good sign.

“Not you too? Alright, fine. I’ll give it a try, but if it’s disgusting you all have to eat a random combination of foods that I pick.”

“Why do I have to? I didn’t say shit about this.” Zep defends himself.

“You can’t cop out by just staying silent. So do we have a deal or what?” Greyson teases.

“Fine.” I hear Zep grumble as Thiago and Rian both say, “Deal.”

I decide to stop standing outside the living room like a creep and go in. “What did I miss?” I say, as if I haven’t been standing there for the last five minutes.

“Nothing much, I’m learning all about their disgusting eating habits and realizing that Rian is better at this game than Thiago led me to believe,” Greyson says as he faces me from the couch.

“Hmm, so nothing too crazy then. I see that everyone still has their limbs and no one’s bleeding out on the floor, so that’s good.” My voice is laced with sarcasm.

“There’s still time. Don’t worry,” Thiago jokes as he winks at me. God, that wink can make my panties melt. It’s suddenly starting to get really hot in here. I’m not sure I’ll be able to concentrate knowing that four gorgeous men are surrounding me in this small space.

I try to control myself and ignore the sexual thoughts running through my brain. “Well, am I going to have to kick all of your asses at this game while we wait for dinner, or should we start a movie?”

“Princess Bride?” Thiago says, with so much hope in his voice.

All of us groan, even Greyson, who hasn’t had to endure the pain of Thiago suggesting that every time we watch a movie. “Looks like it’s option one. The one where I kick your asses. Move over, handsome.” I nod to Rian for him to make room for me. Instead of scooting away from Greyson like I intended, he moves right next to him so there’s no room for me to sit between them. That sly little devil. He totally did that on purpose.

Deciding not to call him out for it, I sit as close to Rian as I can, feeling his heat connect to my body. The feeling sends tingles through me, making me smile at what a lucky bitch I am to have these guys. Looking over at Greyson, I see a hint of jealousy in his eyes. He quickly shrugs it off, turning back to the game.

We continue playing Rainbow Six Siege until dinner’s ready. My team wins four out of the five games we played. I’d like to say it’s because of me, but Zep seriously has mad skills. We played 5 v. 5, with some random people on live playing with us. Then for the next two hours, we spend time talking about food, work, random hobbies, and basically anything you can think of. The guys grill Greyson on his favorite movies, favorite foods, and even his favorite brand of boxers. Not sure why that was important, but it was brought up nonetheless.

I feel myself slowly drifting off to sleep so I sit up, stretch my arms in the air as a loud yawn leaves my throat. “I’m getting pretty tired. It’s been a long day.”
