My stomach sinks. They have proof that Tony was a sick motherfucker that deserved more than Blais’ knife to his throat. He deserved to be tortured more and they didn’t do it. Rage boils inside me, and I force down the dark thoughts of what else they should’ve done to him.No, Zamira, you’re not like that. Stop it.

“How did you get access to the cameras?”

Ace smiles, twirling the knife again. “We have our ways.”

“Okay, so he deserved it, fine. But why did you bring me in here to watch?”

Blais takes a step forward. “You need to understand how serious we are, darling. Maybe seeing Tony bleed out down here will convince you to start talking.”

They think I’m weak. That slitting a man’s throat in front of me and covering me in his blood will make me talk. They’re wrong. I’m no stranger to death. Fuck, sometimes I think I welcome it.

“You don’t know me then,” Igrowl.

A genuine smile flashes across Blais’ face. It reminds me of how happy he looked at the DJ booth at Trinity that night. His smile is so beautiful. I wish I could’ve met him under different circumstances. I think we would’ve hit it off, after I got past how crazy and strong he comes off initially.

“Start talking,” Ace demands, pulling my gaze from Blais’ pearly whites.

“Kill me. You’re obviously all murderers so just fucking kill me.” I know I’m a little crazy for telling them to murder me instead of talking, but if there’s one thing I’ve learned it’s that you never know who you’re dealing with. If I tell them the truth, it could end up being way worse than being dead. What’s the point of talking if the end result is the same? Death.

They won’t do it though, well, at least for now they won’t. That would take all the fun out of their little game and I still have some use.

Ace crouches in front of me, running the knife up my thigh, without taking his eyes off me. “That’s a tempting offer, temptress, but we know your secret.”

My secret?

Fuck. No. There’s no way. He can’t know. He’s bluffing to get a rise out of me.

He just wants you to think he knows something so you’ll spill your guts.

“You don’t know shit,” I spit out, jerking to loosen the ties.

Theon grabs my shoulders to hold me still. Ace stops the knife and laughs. “Oh, but we do.” My chest heaves as he says the words.

He can’t know, Zamira. Stay strong.

Ace quickly cuts the crotch of my sweats making my entire body tense. What the fuck is he doing? The cool metal glides against my skin, causing me to shiver.

My heart beats out of my chest in anticipation. Sliding the sharp edge of the knife through the folds of my pussy, he stops when the point hits my clit. I gasp, a shock of pleasure jolting through my core. Being around them already makes my body react in ways I don’t want, but this makes it even worse. I have the urge to move, but the fear of him cutting my fucking clit stops me.

“Knives turn you on, don’t they? Did the feel of the knife sinking into your husband turn you on, temptress?” Ace asks, licking his lips.

Any hint of pleasure leaves my body, and I feel like a bucket of ice-cold water has been dropped on me.

No. No. No.

Fuck no.

That secret was supposed to die along with Tommy, making sure no one would find out unless I told them.

I try to control my emotions, but my breathing gives it away. My shoulders heave erratically, getting anxious the longer I sit here.

“Why were you trying to hide it?” Blais speaks.

“I…I.” Stutters come out of my mouth as I try to figure out what I’m going to tell them.

“We know you killed Tommy Brennan,” Theon whispers in my ear.

That’s impossible. I had that report so far buried it should've never seen the light of day. I thought all traces of that night were destroyed, but I clearly made a mistake.
