“Until we can get a grip on who they have, yes.”

“Okay. Anything else?”

“Activate our insider,” I tell him. “Activate and have them report every move these assholes make back to me andonlyme.”

“Yes, ma’am.”

“You have eyes on the psychic?”

“We have eyes on the hospital that admitted a man matching his description, though since no one has joined him, we don’t know what room he’s in.”

“And you didn’t find it pertinent to know that information?”

“We assumed they would show up sooner or later and lead us right to him.”

I pinch the bridge of my nose. I swear, it’s amazing this idiot can tie his shoes. “Get into that hospital and find him.”

“And when we do?”

“Kill him.”

“Kill him? I thought we were going to use him?”

“Plans change. Kill him. Now. Tonight. It can be our little parting gift. An ‘until we meet again.’”

He simply stands there, staring at me.

“Did I stutter?” I growl, moving closer.

“No. But.” He fidgets with the front of his shirt. “It’s just, you do realize he’s in a hospital filled with humans. Getting in and out undetected, it’s going to be nearly impossible.”

“I no longer care about whether or not we are detected. Sooner or later, the humans are going to discover just who is in charge. Now,” I trail off, running my hands over the documents on my desk. “My orders are clear, Elliot. Kill the psychic, and send them his head in a fucking box.”
