Drake shakes his head, “No, why do you ask?”
Lexi chews her lip, a crease forming between her brows, “I saw her name written amongst other girl’s names including my own, some of the names had red X’s next to them. For some reason it stood out to me.”
“How many names?” I ask as Gio steps closer to the back of Lexi’s chair, his eyes locked on her but glazed over as though he’s far away.
“Seven in total, I think. Why? Was Lena someone you guys knew?” Lexi says after a second.
“Lena is what my dad called my mother, Elena Vaccari,” Gio’s eyes focus on Lexi, who covers her mouth in shock, “did she have an X by her name?”
I can see her swallow heavily, her tears dripping from her lashes as she slowly nods her head.
“FUCK!” Gio roars before all hell breaks loose.
