“Danny Reyes is a piece of shit.”

I don’t wait for him to reply to my statement. He’s a ball-less piece of shit for working under someone like that.

I turn to the door and grab my leather blazer from the hook by the door. Putting it on, I make sure the little rose is still in place before turning to my head guard, "Don't kill him, rough him up some more so he remembers the consequences for touching my business then let him go."

"Si, Mero."

I walk up the steps and take my phone out to text Dice.

Me:I’m on my way, doll.

I hit send and pull up my security feed on her apartment. I had Hector install them all over the building but also one inside the living room of the apartment.

Call me crazy but the more I learn about Dice, the more I want to know her. Not only is she the daughter of an Underboss who was maliciously killed by his own boss, but she’s also the sister of a notorious Cartel Don. Her list of suspects has increased in the last twenty-four hours and I’m not taking any chances concerning her safety.

When I find this cocksucking stalker, I’ll stuff his worthless body with rocks and drop his carcass in the lake.

The cameras outside show all is well, nothing out of the ordinary so I click onto the inside camera.

The angle allows me to see both windows with the entrance between them, the only entry points of the apartment. With the camera on the smoke detector, I have a full view of the living area where I see Raquel standing and speaking to someone down the hall, off camera. Dice, most likely.

I watch for a few seconds as Raquel claps her hands excitedly right before Dice begins to walk into the camera frame.

Quickly I close the app. I don’t want to spoil the moment of seeing her in person.

I close the phone and start the car. I push everything to the back of my mind for now, I’m going to take my girl out tonight, and make sure she knows how much I fucking want her.

‘Candy’ by GucciHighWaters plays loudly as I pull out onto the road and make my way to Dice's place. I drive over the speed limit, weaving in and out of traffic, anything I can do to get me to my girl faster.

I don't give a fuck if I seem like I'm rushing things with her, the fact is, I think she's the best thing to ever cross my path. She's everything I want in a woman. I've never been the guy who says, I'll never marry.

No, that wasn't my thought as I grew into a man.

I wanted what my mother and father had. I want to rule with a woman strong enough to stand with me. What is a man without a woman?

A woman who stands for what she believes in, and one who will never betray herself for the sake of those around her. Too many women are willing to become whatever society wants in order to have fame and popularity. That's not what I want and that’s not what they should want.

Women are works of art, from their bodies to their minds.

I want someone I know will always have my back. A woman who won't break under me, one who can handle my sharp edges. No, not want. Need. I need a woman who will move with me and never against me.

Fate rolled her dice and put the perfect woman in front of me after years of never finding what I want in any female I've had in my bed.

I'm a man who takes what he wants without apology and Dice Garza is exactly what I want.

I want to take her on trips to Paris, Italy, the Caribbean... everywhere.

I want to shower her with jewels and clothes.

I want to have her hands on my skin and hear my name like a prayer from her lips. I want to lick, touch and bite every inch of her tanned body while I wrap her hair around my fist as I pound into her... in every position, at every angle, in every orifice.

I want it all. All of her.

Parking in a spot close to the stairwell, I grab the short leather jacket I picked out for Dice and step out of the car. I leave it running to keep the heater on.

My men have followed me, as they do any time I’m on the streets, and I know they will stop anyone foolish enough to touch my G-Wagon.

Most everyone knows me and wouldn't dare fuck with what’s mine but it’s an unwritten rule around here; when you see a ride like this in the hood, stay away because more often than not, it belongs to someone willing to kill.
