I wake the next morning, almost afraid to open my eyes. I finally peek one eye open, making sure last night was not a dream. Nope: I’m in Austin’s bed, naked except for the sheet draped across me. And there he is in the bathroom doorway, fresh out of the shower with a towel knotted around his waist.

“Good morning,” I manage, blushing. I let my gaze dance across his chest. His abs. The freakin’ hips, which can seriously deliver.

“Morning,” Austin replies, not blushing at all.

I let my gaze dance across his chest. His abs. The freakin’ hips, which can seriously deliver.

I clutch the sheet to my chest self-consciously. Now we’re not swept up in the throes of passion, and the bright morning light is streaming through the open drapes, I’m painfully aware I’m all mussed and bleary-eyed when he’s clean and awake. “Thanks for letting me sleep in.”

Austin grins, sauntering over to drop a kiss on my lips. “Only fair. I did keep you up all night.”

Last night…

It comes rushing back in a montage of writhing pleasure. That first time in bed, the second with me on top of him, and then thethird… I pull the sheet even higher to cover my blush. Austin lifts my bare foot, poking out from tangled sheets. I’m about to ask what he’s doing when he presses his thumb firmly against the sole of my foot.

“Oh my God,” I say, moaning indecently. When was the last time I got a foot rub?

“Someone needs to take a break at work and call the massage therapist,” he jokes. But he keeps at it, smiling.

He moves to the other foot, and I arch my back in ecstasy. The man gave me three—no, four—orgasms and now a proper massage. I haven’t been this relaxed in… well, ever..

“You’re in the right business,” I tell him, sighing in pleasure as his thumbs dig into my heel, just right. “Thought about moonlighting as one of the massage therapists?”

He laughs. “Maybe. I guess all that competitor research is paying off.”

I stretch, blissed out. “For me, at least.”

Then I remember the reason we’re in this fancy hotel room to begin with, aside from the mind-blowing sex. “What time is it?” I look around. “We have brunch planned with Mac and Lanie. And I probably shouldn’t show up like this,” I add.

He grins. “You’d have no complaints from me.”

Still, I slide out of bed and collect my clothes from near the door, flashing back to last night again—me pressed up against the door. Him on his knees.

Damn, how am I going to get through the day without more of that?

Every hour on the hour, ideally.

“How do you think the deal is looking?” Austin asks, looking unsure as I belt up a bathroom. “I’m trying not to pitch them too hard. But it’s kind of do-or-die now. Without them, the business will be out of cash before opening day.”

“I think they’re interested,” I reassure him. “How could they not be? It’s an amazing opportunity. Plus, the vibes have been great,” I add, teasing. “And that’s what really counts.”

Austin groans. “I don’t know whether that’s a good thing or not.”

“It is. Just keep being yourself,” I tell him. “I guarantee, they’ll be crazy about you.”

Like I am.

I quickly shower and dress for brunch, before meeting Austin, Mac, and Lanie at the hotel’s funky outdoors restaurant. They’re seriously hungover from last night’s escapades, but after a round of Bloody Marys and a towering stack of pancakes, they both perk right up, and soon, they’re regaling us with their international spa adventures.

“Oh, and this one place in Switzerland will cryogenically freeze the fat in your ass, and keep it on ice for whenever you want to inject it into your face!” Lanie says, gesturing the waiter over for another round of drinks.

“No way,” I shudder. “Clearly, I’m not a spa expert like you guys. When Austin took me on one of his reconnaissance missions, I was impressed by the strawberry water in the lounge!”

“The Balinese place?” Austin asks. I nod.

“Oh yeah, that’s fun,” Mac grins. “That’s the one where they do aromatherapywhilethey’re doing reflexology?”
