The pregnancy test falls out and I hold my breath as I watch Owen lean down and pick it up. His brow is scrunched as he tries to make out what he’s holding and I can tell the minute that he figures it out because his head snaps up and he stares at me with wide eyes.

“Andie…”

“Surprise,” I say softly as he walks back over to me and wraps me up in a hug.

He cradles me against his chest and I wrap my arms around him, resting my chin on his chest and looking up at him.

“Ready for a new adventure?” I ask him.

“With you? Always.”
