“One minute,” she manoeuvred off me and ran to a dresser and opened the drawer, pulling out a strip of condoms. “Polly is always prepared.”
I rose from the seat, walked to her and picked her up, her legs wrapped around my waist as I walked to her bed, laid her down and covered her, kissing her gorgeous face.
“Take your clothes off. I want to see if that body is as gorgeous as I’ve been imagining,” she ordered.
“You’ve been imagining me naked.” I cocked a grin and jumped to my feet, discarding my clothes in a flash. “Happy.”
“Mm.” Her eyes were wide as she ran her gaze across my body. Then they landed on my erection. “Oh. I don’t know if I’m scared or excited.”
I rumbled a laugh. “Time to see you naked, Lace. But I’m going to do it.”
After removing her clothes, I smiled as I prowled towards her, then we kissed more, with our naked bodies touching each other.
It was the best fucking feeling in the world.

“Areyoustillsure?”I didn’t want her to change her mind, but this was about her, not me. I was already addicted to her. An obsession I had for her for a very long time.
“I’m sure, but kiss me.” Her smile bloomed, and that was another thing I loved about her. it was the way she looked when she smiled, at first she didn’t smile, at least not very often, but gradually she beamed more and more. Though the thought of that bothered me because, in reality, it was Seb who made her smile.
I blew out a breath. It should have been me—I was a fool.
It’s you now. She’s smiling because of you.
“I’ll kiss you forever,” I said.
“You’re getting soppy with me,” she said, her eyes crinkled at the sides as she smiled at me. I loved she got more comfortable saying things like that to me.
I settled on her body, but I held the weight of mine on my forearms. My eyes wandering around as I stared at her beautiful face, stroking my thumbs over her cheeks, kissing her lips. I looked back into her eyes.
“I’ve always thought of you, the girl I knew only as Sunshine,” I said, not taking my gaze off her.
“Are you talking about when I knocked you out?”
I nodded. “You stared at me beforehand.”
“I know I did.”
“Why?”
“I don’t know. You were this gorgeous boy and something happened when I looked into your eyes,” she said.
“What happened?”
“I don’t know. It was weird,” she said. I nodded because it was. “I had a moment… I thought I knew you, and a rush of warmth ran through me and heated my veins. It made me feel strange and something in me didn’t want to hurt you.”
I laughed.
“I know it sounds ridiculous, but I’m serious. Normally, my opponents left the ring in a state. I didn’t want that with you. That’s why I was so fast, and that’s why I said sorry and knocked you out. I didn’t want to hurt you by having a prolonged fight.”
“I think my father would have preferred me to have left the ring, looking like a bus had hit me.”
“I suppose I never thought of how it would affect you. I thought I was being nice to you.”
I stroked one side of her face, nuzzling into her neck. “You were.” Kissing her jaw and along to her lips. I ran my thumb over her lower lip, her mouth opened, my tongue slipped into her mouth and it tangled and explored with hers.
