Finn put their bags in the back of the SUV and closed the hatch. He helped Colleen into the car and walked around to the driver’s side and slid inside.

She looked up at him with a glowing smile. “Okay. That sounds great.” He knew she must have felt the same way about staying together. “Are dogs allowed in the building?” Colleen asked, adjusting her seatbelt and turning over her shoulder to check on Alfie.
“Yeah, but we don’t have to bring Alfie with us. We can drop him off with the pet sitter.”
